control the 3rd and OT again only to lose. It's such a balancing act that ends with the Devils falling before the Kings... again.

So frustrating. Once again they had plenty of chances that didn't go in. Not so many empty nets and whiffs, but still... grrr.

So sickening.

With my luck this is going to be a sweep and there won't be a game 5 for us to watch.

So hard to accept what's going on because they're not outplaying us.

Amazing...just amazing.

Perhaps this really IS LA's year to finally win a Cup.

I'm in pain right now(figuratively speaking, of course).

The game often ends based on one shift. The Kings have had those shifts in these games.

This one hurts.

LA doesn't even look that good in these games. We're controlling the game, and being stupid.

LA is playing a **** of a lot smarter than us though.

Series isn't over yet, but it's tough to have faith when they pretty much threw their best shot at the Kings tonight and lost by the same score.

I guess it's time to break out the moral victory cliches. "overachieved this year." "happy just to play in the finals." etc.

It's ridiculous.

Kovalchuk's puck rings off the crossbar with 19 seconds left. 2 or 3 pucks deflect just left or right.... it's like the Kings are the "Hand of God" team this year. It's not like they deserve to be up 2-0, series should be 1-1 with some justice based on play.

It's not over yet. Devils HAVE to win the next game, or we're done. Winning the next two in LA would be gigantic.

Neither of these were exactly blowouts.
They were OT and could have both gone either way.
That means that the next two can go either way too.

Sometimes, that's all you really need, Saugus.

The old saying is "Better to be lucky than good".

But when you're GOOD *and* LUCKY like Quick is, that's pretty much an unbeatable combo.

Finishing quality scoring chances has been a problem for this team all year. I'm really disappointed they're going to lose this series, but I have to admit that they went SO much farther than I thought they would. Winning the East and losing to a better team in LA is way better than losing to FLA, PHI, or NYR.

You know what? I'll say it. LA is not as good as everyone is making them out to be. The Devils are beating themselves. Quick is extremely good. Nothing about them scares me. Nothing at all.

The Devils WILL take 2 in LA.
