With pronger it's hard to say..

For one we don't end up trading for Grossmann probably.

But i would think we'd make it into the ECF if we had pronger

Are you saying "prove it" because you believe Pronger has never split another locker room until he got here?

Maybe his wife is moving back home. I'm sure their relationship isn't so hot right now because of everything that's happened.

She was a big part of the reason he left Edmonton.

i don't mean to engage in some dumb "would giroux be mad that pronger was captain" debate...i just mean that given the way the players have all gelled over the year (particularly considering the influx of younger players), would Pronger coming back interfere with that?
The Flyers have so many leaders in the locker room that it doesn't matter who is wearing the 'C'

I really hope that he doesn't leave. He won't be the same guy he was when he came in, but him just being in the lineup still brings depth to the team, and bodies in front of the net. With the Philly media, I take almost any rumor with a grain of salt anyway.

I'm more concerned that they make G captain and then Pronger comes back and wants the C.

What is "everything that's happened"?! There's a health issue within her family, that's why theyre going to spend time in StLou.

Who says that's why they're moving back, was that written somewhere?

Yes. Where has Pronger split a locker room in the past, or when did he do that here?

That seems like a stretch to me, even for someone as arrogant as Pronger can act. I would think once they hand out the C for that season, that's that.

Edmonton. Don't have a finger on when exactly it happened here but Richards and others have talked about the cliques in the room. Pronger was the leader of one.

thats why richards is gone. Him and pronger didnt get on, G on the other hand never had an issue with either. He's a much more respectful player.
