Wooo. Zhitnik. Our very own deflection? I should say things like "We never score on deflections" more often.

We never win when we don't score first.

Hey, it worked when I said we never score deflection goals. It can't fail me now...

Well, that was an entertaining game of clutching and grabbing.

not to mention all the moving picks... Thought I was watching stockton and Malone for a minute.... The hooking was really bad tonight... sigh... Cant wait to hear from Lindy... "we just didnt get a break!" It may be true to some extent, its nice to get breaks, but its better to create good fortune.. All too often, these guys are out of position for a pass, to late to hit a rebound, fire the shot after the d and the goalie are set... Timing is an issue... Hey, we scored on the PP though!!!!

tough loss to the florida luongos tonight
buffalo really dominated the second and third
hopefully buffalo can keep bringing the effort they have the past two games and washington's 2 nhl caliber dmen have too much to handle

anybody else notice the refs weren't so good tonight?
i never blame the game on the refs and i'm not blaming this one on them either, but it seemed like florida got away with a lot

That first penalty on Pyatt was pure crap. I only got to see the first period, but I can just imagine what went on after that by that call on Pyatt.

The Sabres couldn't sink one worth anything, but the refs were indeed terrible. It was all clutch, grab, hook, pick, hold out there. Very ugly game for the NHL.

Imagine how good Luongo would be if he had, say, Colorado's defense in front of him.

Scary.

Good efforts and nothing to show for it. We need to take the next two at home and then work from there.

Well, at least it's an improvement over no effort and less to show for it, like earlier in the year. Take your victories when you can get them, I guess.

Ta,
