Would prefer Grigensons to the Stars, but Ceci is fine.

Have a feeling Ceci is going to be a top 2 or 3 pairing D man. Would be great in tandem with Goligoski.

Can't see TT in Winnipeg. Not this early in the club's history anyway. It's an unsafe pick...he's a gamble basically, Winnipeg's prospect pipeline isn't anywhere near the best in the league, they'll probably look at safer options like (just based on your results) Faksa, Trouba, or Reinhart. Maybe even Ceci (though he's too similar to Enstrom IMO)

I was iffy on putting him there, but he would be BPA IMO. Also they are lacking a bit on high end talent and he has the potential to be an Elite player.

We need a center way worse, our depth at D for the future is already set. But obviously we can improve upon it.

I agree. I'm just trying to think of it logically...I mean it could work, but he's a bit undersized and could spend up to 4 years in Finland (Selanne and Vatanen did). It would've been great if they could've just finished higher...and that stupid rule about OTL's kept Anaheim from having a 5th overall pick (they had fewer wins than Toronto and as many points. stupid.)

Yea, I agree. But I believe he is BPA at that spot. Top 10 talent IMO.

Seems like there are more than 10 players with top 10 talent.

Yakupov, Murray, Galchenyuk, Grigorenko, Rielly ( ), Reinhart, Trouba, Ceci, Forsberg, Dumba, Teravainen, Määttä, Faksa.

Pretty scary.

Yeah, its loaded with defensive talent in the top 15 IMO. To bad the majority of teams in the top 15 need forwards. It is going to be interesting to see how GMs choose between team needs and BPA.

I've been saying this all year. The talent in this year's draft is deeper than most people think. I mean if Samuelsson can be had in the second round...you can add Lindholm and Collberg to that list. Another thing is this is one of the best goaltending pools in recent memory. Nobody ever talks about it but there are some great goalies to be had

Subban
Dansk
Vasilevsky
Whitney
Stolarz
Tremblay
Marakov
Altschuller
Brassard
Windsor
Paterson
Korpisalo

all pretty great options.

Totally agree. Especially the top 3 Goalies. I hope one falls to the Sabres in the 2nd round with picks 41 or 43. Even though we have Enroth in the pipeline, I do not see him taking over for Miller (At least at Millers level). He is quite undersized, when we see the majority of goalies getting bigger and taller as of late.

Also, the picks from 20-45 are all great players. While ELITE talent is lacking in the top 15 compared to some other drafts. (Who knows what type of players they become) The depth definitely makes up for it between picks 20-45 IMO at least.

I have a feeling Collberg goes top 10. 7-10 somewhere, after TT though. He's a great young winger, and there are teams that need a forward bad enough.

If Faksa falls to Buffalo, I won't complain, but I bet he'll be off the board by then.
