Sierra is in crazy beast mode now. Hit 3 HR yesterday and is 4-4 today and hit a 2 run shot to give Vegas a lead.

Crazy game in Vegas. Reno tied the game on a wild pitch in the 9th but also made two outs at the plate in the same inning with a throw from Gomes and another pitch that went by d'Arnaud but threw out the runner at the plate.

Bauer pitched fairly well but both had some trouble in the 1st and 6th inning. His curveball was great in the game. Good game to listen to.

Gose 0-4, BB, 2K's... struggled in the game. Also made a dumb baserunning error on Hech double and got thrown out at the plate by a mile.
Hech 3-5, 2B, 2K's... had two hits off Bauer, one of them was a double.
Vlad 1-5... hit a few deep flyballs and hit a double.
Lind 1-5, 1K
d'Arnaud 1-4, BB ... scored the game winning run and he got on base by drawing a 9 pitch walk
Thames 2-4, BB... drew a walk off Bauer
Gomes 2-5, 2B, K
Sierra 4-4, HR, 2B, intentional walk... great game at the plate. Had a few hits off Bauer, hit a 2 run HR, and they walked him in the extras. He has 7 hits over the past 2 games, 4 of those are homeruns, one double, two singles.

Against Bauer, those hitting lines are very impressive.

I know he's not a jays prospect, but has he been in AAA long or has he been recently moved up? Just curious.

Moved up mid-May and tonight was his 4th AAA start. 4 ER in 19 innings going into tonight.

As you may have heard, there was a shooting at the Eaton Center yesterday, 1 guy dead and 7 hurt. Guess who was very close to the scene before thankfully running out?

That lineup is stacked.

Snider's going to be back soon according to Sportsnet, where does he play?

Huge praise from Goldstein on d'Arnaud. Thinks he might be a star or a superstar. Threw a Devon White comp on Gose which would be freaking awesome and says he has taken off after an adjustment to his batting stance/swing.

He has a 1.120 ops so far and .424 ba. Not really hitting for power but he's hitting really well.

Its unbelievable how he's fallen from grace..

I don't ever recall someone in the top 20 MVP votes finding himself in the minors within 3 years.

It goes to show not only how hard it is to reach that level, but to stay there.....

Taking from mlb site, what is everyone's top prospects team.

SP Sanchez
SP Norris
SP Syndergaard
SP Nicolino
SP Cardona
CL Stilson

C D'Arnaud
1B Anderson
2B Thon Jr (shifted)
SS Hechavarria
3B Hawkins
LF Smith JR
CF Gose
RF Marisnick

I couldn't find a left throwing LF with the potential of Smith JR so I used him.

I think Hawkins would be your LF, he can't play 3B anymore.

We will see, he throws right as well. I'm not sure he will hit for much power. Smith Jr has a beautiful swing, similar to Griffey.

I freakin hate this division. Even with a 28-26 record we're tied for last

At least we're only 1.5 games out of the 2nd WC.

Just wait until Bundy comes up...having Machado at SS doesn't give me much hope either.

It's just such a fail. Look at almost all the other divisions in both leagues over the years, we'd have made the playoffs a few times over I'd think Really sad

Kevin Goldstein mock draft:

http://www.baseballprospectus.com/ar...commentMessage

Has us taking McCullers at 17 and Coulter at 22 (says its an unprotected pick but that's an error on his part).

BBA has us taking Giolito at 17 and Gallo at 22. http://ht.ly/blw0B

I really want McCullers. Has an electric fastball. I'd be willing to take a chance on Giolito too. Obviously you pick one of those guy with #17 so we get a pick next year if they don't sign. #22 better be a guy that we can sign.

Also Astros have said that they're taking Appel #1 overall.
