we have had the same management team since 2003....let's see going forward if we notice a change .

I think I missed something here. Did you mean Cole instead of Darche?

a reporter asked Martin the same question(Cole over Darche), didn't go well.

Bottom line is Habs marketed Darche in commercials, and played Darche on the first line pp over Jagr...

Jagr would have sold millions of dollars in Jersey's alone .....Darche? about $1600 worth ...

Would it be out of the question to think Jagr jersey sales of 10,000 in Montreal? if so at 200 a pop , that's 2 million dollars.

I think there's no question Jaromir has always been interested at the thought of playing in a market like Montreal. Whether it actually happens is another thing.

1 year at 1 or 1.5 million, I do it no question.

I'd like this. He won't be able to keep up with top line minutes at all so I don't see how he could play with Plekanec... but he would be great for the powerplay.

Yes, but you also believe that Radulov only come back to the NHL so he could burn his ELC then sign in Montreal. Where are we going to fit all these players, are you sure there's no-one else?

Last year, I was interested. This year, not so much. I'd have to pass. The clock is ticking. I think we can do better without Jagr.

That said, he'd make a fantastic RW for DD and would free up Cole to help Pleks do the heavy lifting.
He ranked 6th on the Flyers (fowards only) in terms of level of opposition so he played top 6 opposition mostly. He also had a high Ozone start but still, highest CorsiRel on the Flyers. He'd be a good fit, like you said, with DD but he's also credible in second toughs in case of injuries.

Would be interesting to take a look at the Flyers scoring chances and see if they paint a similar picture.

I think he'd be a good addition (especially considering the market). Now he has to actually want to come here.

He will be 41 years old. He slowed down drastically about half way through last season. It's not going to get any better. :S

Oh.
well it seems pretty obvious that was correct, (Radu burning off his ELC)
Radu won't be back in Nashville next year, and RANGERS are interested supposedly...so why not HABS ???Why wouldn't you bring in a guy (Radulov)who was already a super star in the QUEBEC MARKET???

I said too many times now and long before the media start saying it , Roy in MTL=Radulov in Mtl...that i do 100% believe .

Yes i was bashing Gauthier for not going after Jagr last year(before he signed with Philly)....When i looked at our line up it was baffling how Jagr wasn't a better option than other players...blew my mind to be honest. In the end we did finish near last, so i guess that's why we didn't need Jagr.

I think his play this year proves that he can still play top 6 minutes. That's the kind of depth you need to challenge for the Cup. Cheap, high end talent. And we can balance his work load with a few good moves in the off-season.

A line of Pacioretty - Plekanec - Jagr is mouth-watering.

I wouldn't mind re-uniting the brothers for "cheap".

A full season doesn't seem to be the best course of action at this point.

If we manage to keep him fresh, he still has some left in him.
