When a goalie makes a brilliant save and Emrick just goes "and it would not go!" ....

I want to strangle him.

Give the goalie credit. Say that he saved it.

SAVE BY QUICK!!

Not "it wouldn't go!"

****ing obnoxious nasally whine bag.

Get used to it. We had to deal with it all of last series as I'm sure you know. The only time a goalie makes a save is when it's old fat **** Marty.

Zucc Awesome: Emrick does that when he's not sure if a save was made or not.

you guys overanalyze the **** out of things. emrick has a lot of catchphrases he uses, "it would not go" being one of them.

Dude! I just screamed at my tv when he said that over the same thing. He is such a ****ing Brodeur homer, never giving the other goalie any credit. Did it multiple times to Hank in the playoffs.

Ok then I change my complaint to " doc is unsure if a goalie made a save or not WAY TOO OFTEN!"

He says it sometimes when other teams get scoring chances on the Devils. Most people just don't realize it because they only pick up on when Emrick might be doing something slightly homerish.

I may be in the minority on this one, but I really don't mind listening to Emrick call games.

Well then he's pretty ****ing blind, because he says it all the time when it's CLEAR as ****ing day that the goalie made a save. Somehow he doesn't have a hard time telling whether Brodeur makes a save or not.

Wrong, broadcasters have multiple tv angles they watch on small screens while calling the game. He's looking at the play close up while making that call and chooses NOT to give the opposing goalie credit. However, being the devils homer that he is, he will automatically give the call to Brodeur

i don't mind him either, he can be annoying at times, but there are a lot more biased guys out there than him.

The whining about Emrick got old months ago, guys. Can we talk about the damn game and not obsess over the commentators? Between the moaning about Emrick's particular idiom and the nonstop cries of "BIAS!" I can't imagine where you guys find time to actually watch the game.
