Rangers fan who's long time second favorite is the Kings since the Gretzky days. Gretz actually got me into hockey, and is pretty much my idol. Even had these as a kid.

http://fasinfrankvintage.com/wp-cont...0660821226.jpg

Had you guys as my stanley cup favorites as soon as Richards was traded. Thought moving Stoll down to the #3 center slot would give you guys insane depth, especially with Gagne.

Been rocking these all post-season after Ranger games lol.

Very happy to see the Kings where they are, they're a big reason as to why I get center ice every year, and have had access to out of market games since 1999. Happy for you guys as well because you guys have had a similar situation to the Rangers, stuck in the middle for a while, and it's good to see you guys hopefully get your first Stanley Cup.

Let's go Kings!

PS: Hopefully you'll be back in the finals next year and the Rangers can take a shot at the cup.

That's really cool of you. I think the Rangers, Blues and (ugh) Canucks are the teams that are closest to the Cup.

Another amazing performance! Everybody keeps on chipping in and that's how the games are won. I love the PK!

For some reason I just feel like there will be at least some minor b/s riot stuff, really hope it doesn't get crazy, but some people are idiots. Kinda ruins the experience worrying about it. Gonna be awesome to be down there, though, watching with a bunch of fans.

It wont be from the Kings fans or NJ either. It will be from the usually riff-raff who have nothing better to do than come down and hang with the crowd... ala Lakers fans

As for the team, I can see how they'd be frustrated because they had chances and then the controversial play goes against them, but they have to be mentally tougher than that. If one play like that goes against them and they fold they don't deserve to win.
I have to say, the Devils have been remarkably disciplined this series. Every other team cost themselves at least a game by starting a parade to the penalty box. It's true, the two power play goals put tonight's game out of reach, but it was nothing like the meltdowns that occurred in previous series.

Y'all celebrating in LA on Wednesday? Enjoy it. I'm 2000 miles away. Or 3000...or something. I don't know. It's far, either way. I'll be a viewing party with my Kings hat on cheering something fierce.

If the Kings win? Y'all hear me from here.

Let's see. Series one, 5 games. Series two, 4 games. Series three, 5 games. Series 4......Anyone seeing where I'm going with this?
This playoff run has by FAR exceeded what any Kings fan, hockey fan or anyone in the media could ever imagine. Hell, I would've been happy with two rounds won, and would've said, "They gained a huge amount of experience for next season.", but to see this team go 15-2 and roll through the 1st, 2nd & 3rd seeds in the West, and the chance to bounce a team that had 7 more points in 4 games in the Cup final? I would seriously tell you to shut the **** up and go jump off the highest bridge you could find.
This run is an absolute dream and I'm loving every minute of it. Mark the date down folks. June 6th, 2012 is the day the Los Angeles Kings win their 1st Stanley Cup in the clubs history. Book it!

I was a regular at the Great Western Forum in the mid 90's, my first hockey game ever was in 1993 Kings vs. Flyers and I instantly fell in love with not only the Kings but hockey in general, I remember the days of being the worst in the NHL, I remember going to Staples Center for the first time and watching Adam Deadmarsh light the lamp... All these things I remember doing and for it to lead up to this point, not a matter of if but when they win the cup Im most likely going to cry, its simply amazing what this team has done in the playoffs... Just amazing, this truly has been a dream season

Fantastic game. I was there and in my wildest dreams, I could not have envisioned this team would play the way they have. The Kings just dominate the Devils, physically. They do not want any part of contact along the boards. I heard on the radio on the way home what the hit numbers were and that is just ridiculous.

Just some observations, I liked what I saw from Gagne. He didn't look rusty at all from what I saw and at this point, you go with him until this job is finished. The offensive zone penalty sucked, but I really didn't get a good look at it. Quick was our best PK'er. There were some scary moments, but he was composed, as usual. The arena absolutely exploded when the 5-3 PP was killed. Voynov was scaring the crap outa me, but the dude is a rookie and we all saw the difference between Martinez's first year and his second. I expect the same kind of trajectory from Slava.

Anyway, Kings fans really brought it from the noise standpoint and after the game, we really got loud for the NHL Network cameras. It was hilarious because at one point, Pang took his headset off and he was just laughing at the volume of cheers and chants. Good stuff, Kings fans.

The love fest continues on NHL Tonight.

Kevin Weekes: "I dare any hockey expert to point out one thing that's wrong with that Kings team. One deficiency....I don't see it."
