I'd guess either the NTDP team or Green Bay. My guess is it would be the NTDP since it's supposed to be developing players for Team USA.
dont think because tourney takes place a few days after Ivan Hlinka Memorial where NTDP will play if I am correct. I think it will be club, but dont know which one.

The NTDP doesn't play at the Ivan Hlinka but I'd be very surprised if they sent them to the JWC.

They'd probably put forth a better showing than Green Bay given the latter is going to have a big turnover in their roster.

thx for info, but I dont think NTDP will play in Omsk. It is tourney for clubs not NT´s - Norway and Denmark are based on NT because their league is weak, USA has strong junior league...
Can anybody describe Waterloo Black Hawks? Who will not play for them next season, who is newcomer? I looked at stats and seems Waterloo Black Hawks is one of best USHL teams... right?

Waterloo will have one of the best returning teams in the USHL in my opinion. The will be lead by undersized forward Taylor Cammaratta. Also they have traded for Zach Stepan who is the cousin of NY Ranger Derek Stepan. The question for them will be in net.
They're also supposed to be getting Chris Sitler from the Springfield Jr. Blues. He's a good forward, one of the leading scorers for the team. Dude's a little wrecking ball at 5'6", too. I'm going to miss seeing him on the hometown team.
Waterloo could be loaded up front next year. It's possible they could have Kloos (if Bjugstad doesn't go pro) in addition to Cammarata, Stepan, Calnan, Papa and any other less heralded players that will step in and have an impact. McCoshen has a huge amount of potential on defense and then there's a guy like Cleland who's shown very well at younger ages. Add in a solid goalie in McAdam and it looks like they should be legit.
One question regarding the '95s on the roster is if they'll go to the Ivan Hlinka U18 tournament or not. The two tournaments are likely to be within a week or so of each other and Cammarata and McCoshen seem like they'd be sure bets to make that team. Waterloo would still have a solid roster without them though.
I don't have any info about Lysenko's plans but I wouldn't be surprised to see him drafted into the CHL and end up there. That's what usually happens with European players who play in the USHL as 16 year olds.
Does the tournament not run at a time when players will be at NHL camps? Not that Sudbury as a ton of draftees from what I can see, but they would likely have a few free agent invites. It will be interesting to see how a mid-range OHL club matches up against what appears to be a top-end USHL club. Although... it is just pre-season. I'd love to see a head-to-head tournament between some teams from the leagues in the heart of the season, perhaps around Christmas time. Likely won't happen, but one can dream...
