No effing way. I'd rather have Crawford between the 2.

The only way I can rationalize this is because Bergy is trying to attract Crosby for next year.

End of the honeymoon. That was quick. Pretty much the worst available hire.

So, what are those lottery prospects for 2013 looking like?

Well until we get our awful contracts off the books it was looking pretty bad anyway, may as well lose the right way.

If you had told me 10 years ago I'd be sitting here reading this news.... WOW.

The man was borderline incompetent during his first go round. It wasn't the outbursts or the attitude, it was the hockey decisions. They were awful for the most part.

Then he coaches a team with two generational talents to the Cup finals and somehow gets himself fired 50 games later.

Hoping that either this guy learned ALOT in the past couple years or that is is some diabolical plan by Bergy to tank another year and grab a superstar.

This has the potential to be very bad.

As far as I can tell, dregger said 'it is believed that therrien will be hired'. Not confirmed, even if it is pretty close. Locked until confirmed.

Well see. Pretty annoyed but lets see where this veteran French coach takes us. Since we went with a vet I expect nothing less than playoffs. Anything less is now a failure to me after reducing candidates.

I hope everyone gives him a chance before senselessly bashing him (and Bergevin) to no ****ing end.

We already gave him a chance. That's the problem.

There isn't a palm big enough for this. Bergevin's first big move is a dud.
