I hope there is at least one assistant that has a university degree (or two) and has never played in the NHL.

I would like Carbo and Desjardins.

But we'll probably get something I won't like.

Probably will need Robinson, just for Anglo relations. We can barely understand Therrien's English.

i really hope carbo is back.
guy just wants to help out.
When a ex HC says he wants to come back and help in any capacity, it shows he cares about this team.

Carbo is an excellent specials team tactician, and tbh our PK will not need major help, they'll continue doing what they are doing, but our pp can really use carbos help

Who was the coach of the PK last year? Ladouceur? Whoever it is should be retained at all costs.

Whoever was in charge of the PP should be the primary person to replace.

You can bet on Carbonneau and/or André Savard, two very close friends. I would keep Ladouceur too. And get a new goalie coach.

Carbo and Desjardins would be my choices... unless Robinson would want the assistant coach job I'd definitely want him.

TSN990 speculated that Marty Lapointe may be one.

Personally I am hoping for Robinson/Carbonneau

Desjardins has ZERO experience as a coach. Why not Hal Gill then ?

Why ? Another Bergevin's friend ? No coaching experience nowhere to be seen.

Groulx has done a good job with our goaltenders, I think he should be kept around. I think a more calm guy like Robinson or Desjardins would be better with our defense than Ladouceur.. last thing we need is both Therrien and Ladouceur freaking out and yelling at PK if he makes a stupid play.

Dunno, Price had a good, but not great season. Given the performances of others in the playoffs and our certainty that Price has that kind of performance within his talent level, I'd say Groulx got the bare minimum out of Price.

Carey Price has been much better under Groulx than he was with Rollie and Budaj played decent for us last year.
