Wow, All my d-men are trained up to 90+ CHK and DEF and they still just let players walk right out from behind the net into the slot and score. Anyways, Fel destroys me in the 3rd period and takes the tiebreaker game 5-1.

If it makes you feel better I played a guy and was beating him 2-0 and with .2 seconds left he quit. And then I got the loss. I rage emailed EA sports. This is the fourth year in a row that **** has happened.

Better than winning the HUT Elite playoffs but not getting the 15,000 pucks.

I'm playing with my new Kontrol Freek and it's taking a lot to get used to. It's designed for FPSs but I figure I can get use to it faster if I just use it on my controller 24/7 rather than just for CoD. Been playing NHL with it on for the last couple days.

When ever you guys win a online tournament/playoffs in hut remember to watch the ending cinematics without stopping them. That way you will get your pucks after the final game. (this is a known bug)

first time I heard of this happening for NHL 12.....I remember it was rampant in NHL 11. All you had to do was get a friend to send you a game invite, accept it, and let the other player leave the game. You would get the automatic win.

Yea dude. I did that on '10 with EASHL. Its ugly. I couldn't imagine how mad I'd be if I lost a prize, too.

Yea, its hard finding a legit game these days. Its ugly. EA customer support never helps either.

Played 4 games tonight. Won all by a combined 12-3. Outshot them by a combined 126-39. My shooting percentage isn't looking too good.

I just bought the Aero's 3rd Jersey for 200 pucks... it looks so sweet.

So, just played a quick online game against some random guy who was around 10 levels higher than me.

- He chose the Western All-Star team (I played with Wild as per usual)
- He didn't do face-offs properly (mashed the stick)
- When he got his only goal, he watched the full replay
- He would always chase me after the whistle
- He probably felt proud figure skating in his own zone for five seconds during my PP

Meanwhile, I shut down his PP completely, actually moving the puck in his zone on my PK and generally shut him down and forcing to take stupid penalties.

I won 2-1. Winning never felt this good. Happy Birthday to me I guess.

Played Rage for a few hours yesterday. Pretty fun game. Similar to Borderlands, in terms of art (quasi cel shaded), setting, gameplay, voice acting, etc. Just missing the RPG element which is huge of course.

Graphics are phenomenal...except for the textures popping in and out. The lighting is ridiculously good. I imagine on PC it's just gorgeous. Makes me want an SSD to fix the popouts.

Those always leave a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. Way to go

Since I quit paying HUT, I've won 3-straight online VS games (two of them made the other guy rage quit) and made it up to level 5 in those 3 games. Hooray for undefeated in VS

Dang, just saw Playstation Plus subscribers get free Infamous 2, Saints Row 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Just Cause 2, and a bunch of other games. For $5 a month it seems like a good deal. Anyone subscribed? Is it worth it?

Not going to lie, I think that's going to be the tipping point to get me to sign up. Hell of a deal.

The only hesitation is that you've only got access to those games as long as you're subscribed.

Everything I've heard about Plus is that it takes a few months to be worth it if you just go with the yearly sub, but the deals that you do get even out. I think I'm going to take the plunge this week.

I looked at the last couple months and was underwhelmed...but honestly four of those games are on my "to buy" list, and even at $20 each that's way more than a year of PS Plus.

Just Cause 2 is hilariously awesome, Space Marine is great if you're a 40k fan, Infamous 2 is great, LBP, SR2 and R&C are all worthwhile.

They've already had Castlevania: SotN for free (which is awesome). There are a few great little games that get discounted down as well.

It seems like a solid option to pick up some cheaper PSN games that you may not otherwise play.

You have to pay it beforehand? That sucks.

That being said, I might be tempted to try it... 15€ for all those games? Sounds awesome.

So, just subscribed and it shows me that Just Cause 2 costs 14€ on the store with the plus. What the hell?

Might be. But holy ****, free Max Payne!

I mean, not worth 15€, but hey.

Will keep browsing, it looks actually good so far.

Also looks like there's a different PS+ for Europe.
