If Lou thought he was the best , he would have hired Therrien...ask Pierre McGuire about being "second best" and what that means.

Fact is the Habs pulled Serge Savard out of retirement to get us Michel Therrien.....as i said earlier we could have got Gauthier to do that for us .This entire process has turned into a charade i would expect of Pierre Gauthier .

It never showed in the Pens' puck possession game. Lemairesque tacticians with this much talent rarely get habitually outchanced and outshot.

Just one reason, and not a small one, is that Marc Crawford has as many coaching playoff wins as Therrien has playoff games played, and that's just part of him being tonnes more experienced than Therrien overall. But a better reason to be mad is that these guys could have been among the two worst choices for the job/situation among the "front-runners".

Lots of you must be tired after debating this all through the night, and for what?

I guess the Mods are all asleep, this thread should have been closed 4 pages ago.

I can't posibly be the first to have seen this. You guys must be too distracted. McKenzie is reporting (on the TSN Insider training video) that Martin Lapointe WILL be a part of the organization. It is up to him whether he will be an assistant coach (willing to move his family) or be in a director of player development role.

More Bergevin hiring his buddies. I sort of sense a bit of a pattern.
