Would like to see Dudley throw his weight around and bring in Craig Ramsay.

That would be a good pick. Andy Murray could also be a good option.

Wasn't Carbo really good with the PP? Cuz it's clearly lacking at this point. For the PK, not much need to be done. Ladouceur looks like a bad ass so it'd be to keep around. But, Big Bird or Craig Ramsey would be great choice for Dman coach.

We should as this question to the french media, as they are the ones that got Michel Therrien the HC job. They will probably pressure the canadiens for Guy Carbonneau and either Mario Tremblay / Gaston Therrien / Denis Gauthier...or whoever goes on that l'Antichambre show!

The only candidate that makes sense is Tony Marinaro.

We haven't spoke with laddy himself, spoke with his wife. His daughter is getting married in a few weeks so this has to be just more added stress for him. Hope to speak with him soon.

IIRC every time Carboneau was either coach or assistant, the team was owning in special teams. There was a time when he was Therrien's assistant where the team was so dominant on the PK I was expecting it to score goals instead of allowing some. So my vote goes for Carbo.

Now if only Muller was still with the habs...

If Bergevin loves him so much, he could give him a job as a waterboy. No more.

Talking of love, Hartley just hired his old buddy Cloutier in Calgary.

Maybe they're just waiting for Larry Robinson's current job to end in about 30 hours.

Lapointe made a pile more money in his career using Montreal as a leverage. He's not the only one who did that, but frankly, I don't really want him around.

GO MARTIN LAPOINTE.... (at least i'd be able to say i know personnaly an assistant coach with the Montreal Canadiens)

I know Martin as a relationship with Bergevin but is he any close with Therrien

is older son his playing a good level of hockey, he stop being a pro scout for the Hawks to be more at home and watching his kid. Unless the kid career is already over, i don't see why Marty would come here to coach... (It's not like he needs the money, he still has some of that Bruins green in his bank acount)

That being said, as a third assistant upstairs during game and for the practice, why not, but definetly not as Therrien right hand man....

You need a very good d-man coach in Hamilton right now. And to replace Therrien in 3 years....you need a franco coach instead of Jodoin who will never coach the Habs. So there's a lot of things to do, as far as I'm concerned in Hamilton and in Montreal.
