One frickin win away. Unreal. I still don't know how I should be feeling, I'm still on cloud nine. I hope we win it on home ice, just so I can hear the Kings fans cheering. I'm in the middle of nowhere in Manitoba, and I have to be the only Kings fan in a 300 miles radius (or however far away Holden is), I need to cheer with someone.
I know how you feel, I'm in Belgium and even the guys in my beer league don't really pay much attention to the NHL. I feel so far away from it.
Zidlicky has the most ice time on their team? I'll take it. That guy is talented, but a time bomb.
I like the Devils d-depth as a unit, but they are getting exposed and beat in one-on-one battles. But who can really contain Kopitar when he's determined? I almost felt bad for Parise. Kopi shrugged him off like a child.
After going through Backes, Kesler, and Hanzal like they were boys among men, I can't imagine anyone on the Devils being remotely close in defensive ability (maybe Zajac, but I never see him near Kopitar).
I think that is probably due to all the penalties. The Kings had to kill 12 minutes of pp, Greene played about 6 minutes right there, so naturally you want to scale back his even strength time, which directly affects the ice time of Martinez. Plus you want Mitchell on the ice as much as possible.
It has more to do with their partners, than Voynov taking Martinez minutes directly, i expect that to return to the norm next game

I'm sure many people, including myself, feel the same way.
Blues fan here. Congrats on your trip to the SCF and one win to the cup. I've been a Blues fan for 25 years, and it must feel so great to be in your position. Go Kings, you guys are the only ones that can relate to us.
Bandwagoner or not, chicks who have been strutting around town wearing their LA Kings jersey have increased their hotness by at least 10x... or so I'm told.
That was freakin epic. Man i wish i was done with nursing school and working already, cause then i could have afforded to buy a ticket to the game! The atmosphere in there looks like its amazing.
Wanted to give you guys a shout out and let you know I hope you take it in the next game. Your season has reminded me of our run in 2006 when we won the Cup, and I can't tell you how exciting that was for us. It's been nice watching you guys this season. Good luck!

Thanks man. I hope we can get JDub another cup tomorrow

Not in LA or nursing school, but I wish I was at school in the area. My top picks for English graduate programs seem to be closeish to the LA, for whatever reason, but it'll be years in any case. One of those times you wish you were further in life goals to afford a ticket somehow and a plane ride.
I'll settle for being at the local upscale sports bar and drinking and eating and screaming at the TV.
