Anyone know of a place I can get cheap jerseys shipped to Canada online? I am still wearing my Mike Richards jersey from 2009...

Interesting... So one person bought the Home jersey for almost $18K and another person bought the Road jersey for almost $18K (almost $36K for one player alone to be divvied up amongst the participating groups ) and it's possible one could be a One-and-Done job.

HC, you certainly know your crap about Meigray and their details... which makes their record keeping blunder and subsequent snarly message to you s laughable... once it was straightened out, that is.

For anyone interested... at Dick's Sporting Goods (at the old Garden State Racetrack site location off Route 70) they had some Flyers Home (IIRC) jerseys for sale and many were the single-ply smaller numbered ones... including many Talbert #27s... but they had many Bryzgalov #30s and most of them were the two-ply larger number sewn on ones that are sold at the WFC for $200.00 selling for $160.00 IIRC (might be a bit less though)... Just be careful because they have the single-ply #30s mixed in at the same price.

Also, on a Clearance rack there were some Winter Classics jerseys including a Briere and a Giroux for $140.00 and with felt customization... plus some children's ones without the felt and I assume for cheaper. I was tempted with the Briere (size Large IIRC) but now that I'm aware the numbers are smaller than the ones the players wore, I notice it... and $140.00 is sill too high for me since I paid much less for my Black Friday Giroux one at Modells. I believe we will be seeing the blanks and numbered left overs at Ross, TJ Maxx, etc. soon.

Just tell them Sawdalite sent you.

So I can drop off my jersey to get the retro font and they'll send it to rubertis so I don't have to drive to west Chester?

$18,000 for Brodeur's Road Jersey that was worn in one game where he gave up four goals. Deals and Steals.

To answer your question, nope. Gamer sold to someone before me and the white game issued is $1,250.

If I had known you wanted it I would have bought it. I had the right of first refusal.

Smart move. A lot of coin for a one game memento that will drop in value the second your credit card is charged. Plus you'd be pushing the ten bill limit for the year. Life is a lot longer and more expensive than college!

Name & Number Font For Flyers

Hey guys/gals,

Sorry of the OT topic, but I didn't know where else to find this, and I couldn't find it off google.

So, I'm looking for the specific font the Flyers use for the nameplates and numbers.

Thanks in advance!

From what I remember, the font is called "yearbook soild."

The font has varied a lot lately. This thread has a few older links, but I doubt they are up to date, specifically since the Flyers have varied recently due to customizer transitions. Also, even if you have the font, there are still issues and differences in how the twill is actually cut for the game jerseys.

NO Thirds this year... as far as I've heard through my grapevines no new jerseys Ed wants to keep it simple.

side note.. Anyone know where I can find a decently priced Phillies Cream Alt. Siz 46 or 48 with Worely on the back?

Keep an eye on eBay user ptfsports. Should be able to snag a blank, and then have it lettered. I doubt many places are going to carry Worley jerseys on hand.

No need to wait for that. The C stands for concussion.

Don't even bother man, their font is just dumb. The font they retired with the white Edge jersey WAS a standard font, but Ruberti's altered it and are the only ones who have it.

The pre-lockout font that was used on the black jerseys is possible to find, it's the same as the Blackhawks letter font I believe. Either them or the Isles, I forget.

This new one that's out I'm pretty sure is custom.
