Has any other team had a 3-0 lead this season?

I'm DVR'ing the CBC broadcast on NHL network right now. Their production is much better than NBC.

I saw some of the Devils interviewed on NHL Live and they all look totally dejected. Even E.J. commented on how Parise looked like he was just counting down the time until he went home. That's good to see. Meanwhile I remember how confident the Canucks and Coyotes looked after Game 3 and they were able to turn that into a win.

Kings just need to finish this. They have come so far and now it's just going to take one more win for 45 years of pain to be washed away.

What can be said that hasn't been already?

I remember being in Vegas sometime in early March, and the Kings were something like 40-1 to win the Cup. I though that was a joke...I wouldn't have bet that even if the odds were 400-1, because the thought of them advancing this far was utterly preposterous. The offense was terrible, rooted at the bottom of the league in average GPG. In fact, they may have finished the season there...I haven't bothered to check.
Made a roadie to Vegas for Sweet 16 weekend the third week of March.

Got ticket in my grubby hands with the Kings at 15-1 to win the Cup.

Wish I had bet more than $20.

I only got them at 12-1.

Looking ahead to game 4 the Kings gotta play a complete game and give the Devils their best effort yet. Devils won't give up and you know they wanna bring it back to Jersey for at least another game. Kings squandered chances to close out 2 series on home ice, I am sure Sutter will be reminding the team of that fact.

I'm just trying to soak it all in right now... What could be the greatest playoff run in LA Kings history will be over in just a few short days and I'm desperate to enjoy it while it lasts. No matter what I'll probably look back at this moment with nostalgia for the rest of my life.

The difference is that the Canucks and Coyotes both lost by 1 goal. They were confident because they knew they were at least good enough to out-defense the Kings for at least 1 game. Unlike the Devils, those teams didn't let the game get away from them.

Anyone at the game notice during one of the breaks in play Roenick waving to the fans like a returning hero?

A few fans in our area of the arena cheered (obviously don't remember him from his time with the Kings) and others booed and told JR what they thought of him.

I was sitting next to a good friend of one of the Devils' assistant coaches. His opinion of JR was "what a self promoting #####."

We were a Tahoe a few years ago a week after the annual celeb golf tournament at Edgewood. I asked several dealers and pit bosses about the sports celebs (who were the good and who were the bad guys). It was unanimous.....JR was the biggest jerk of them all. I was surprised. The NHL guys generally have a great reputation with the public.

Well, "swift" and "quick" are somewhat similar words with similar meanings.
