Therrien had some pretty bad teams to work with . When Perreault is your first center and you do the playoffs , that isn't " awful "
As far as my recollection goes, Vignault, who we have pretty good evidence of being a good coach had similar to worse squads that were better and not enitrely dependant on otherworldly goaltending to compensate for 40 shots against nights.
BTW, where's that original article that said Patrick Roy was definitely going to be Habs coach and they would announce it after the Memorial Cup or whatever. I'd like to know who wrote it so I can ignore everything they say hereafter.
