You don’t really think too much about it. I think there will be added pressure, especially considering that we’re at home, and the possibility of winning at home is pretty enticing, the opportunity."

We want to make sure we’re ready for the start on Wednesday, try to get another win. (on Darryl Sutter’s impact on the team…) “Well, when he got in, it was, I guess, a pretty big change, if you compare him to Terry Murray. A lot more intense. He’s brought in an intensity to the locker room. He wanted to be more aggressive, keeping guys accountable. We’ve seen it times and times again when maybe some of the guys are not going, he’s not afraid to sit them for a couple minutes or anything. Just, again, accountability is a big part of what he brought in."

If you’re looking at results, then you’re wasting your energy on the wrong thing. You need to do things the right way, and if you do things the right way, as individuals and as a team, it’s a cliche but, it takes care of itself, right? You can’t waste your energy doing that. Sometimes you play a good game and you run into a hot goaltender and you lose games. So, you just worry about your own game. If you do that, and do it on a consistent basis, the results come."

We did a lot of work after practice with the coaches and tried to work on a lot of things that are similar to the game. Until you get there, you never know. To get back on the ice and play a game and get back on the ice after a while is always good, especially in a Stanley Cup Final. (There is) no better feeling."

It could have been two-nothing for them, before this game. If they win that next one, then all they’ve got to do is win three more. They have the momentum if they win the next one, so we want to finish it off at home in front of our home fans. Like I said, we’ll just reset and refocus."

We’ve had a grand total of four (power plays) in three games now.” (on the play of guys such as Matt Greene, Willie Mitchell and Rob Scuderi…) “Well, they’re a huge part of our penalty killing and they’re the veteran guys in the back end. They give us that stability. You know what you’re getting all the time.” (on Jonathan Quick’s play…) “You need outstanding goaltending to win playoff games. He’s given us that.” (on the key to the win…) “Penalty killing. Our ability to stay with it. As I said, it’s not easy when you’ve had that many penalties called against you. It’s hard on your team because there’s guys that don’t play when they’re killing and there’s guys that probably play too much."

We need to score one. Credit to them. You know, their goalie made some big saves early. We couldn’t get one.’’ (on whether the Devils’ stars or struggling or whether Jonathan Quick deserves the credit…) “You have to give their goalie and their team some credit. You know, he’s made some saves. We put up the same number of chances against Philly, the Rangers, we’re getting some goals. We’re not this series. That’s a credit to them. It’s not that our guys aren’t trying or not doing enough. They’re shutting the door. We’ve got to find a way."

LET'S GO KINGS !!!

- UPCOMING SCHEDULE -

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Jesus, guys.

These are the three greatest days of my life:

1. The day I got married.

2. The day my daughter was born.

3. The day the Kings won the Stanley Cup.

I have been lucky enough to see the first two happen. I can't get my mind wrapped around the fact that I will be at Staples tomorrow with a very real chance of seeing the third happen in person.

I just can't believe it.

Can't wait to see the atmosphere at the Staples Center tomorrow. NBC will probably want to air a clinch game.

Just read this blog that Colin Fraser wrote about his trade to the Kings and what it felt like to win the Cup with the Hawks. I think it's so great that he'll actually be in the game playing when the Kings win as opposed to hiding in the massage room, lol. Dean needs to resign this guy as soon as possible.

This is it boys and girls, the 45 year old dream of a city could actually be realized this day, this one game. This is the game to do it, in front of our home crowd in our own building. The Stanley Cup is in the house. Let's win it! GO KINGS!

Nah we don't need to be like Laker Fans, Canuck Fans (oh wait is that still an infraction to say ?), ... well you get the point ... We'll celebrate and rock the city out, but no need to riot, time to show the world LA Kings Fans are the Classiest Torta Ahogadas & In-N-Out eating son-of-a-*****es of the bunch now where's my Molotov cocktail ?

Best of luck guys, been pulling for you ever since Darryl stepped behind your bench, I picked y'all from the beginning of the season and stuck with you guys winning even in the beginning of the playoffs despite you being the 8th seed, I just thought you guys had a special team I guess (plus you were playing the Canucks, lol).

40+ years of frustration could be wiped out just with one win tonight.. must be a magical feeling. Best of luck guys, you deserve it
