Interesting picks from SNB. Do they have a line on these Salisbury players? If Biega ever had thoughts of coming, wouldn't it have been last season? http://www.collegehockeyrecruitexchange.com/ lists Biega as the top unsigned [for US College] New England player .

Ah, rumors suggest trade bait for Patrick Roy on Saturday.

Im assuming Moncton is happy with the expansion draft. They only lose and 18- year old 3rd liner who can be easily replaced..

Ah, rumors suggest trade bait for Patrick Roy on Saturday.
It would make sense for Quebec. Roy left Archambault unprotected and Sherbrooke selected him. He wouldn't have left him unprotected if he didn't have other options because until yesterday, Archambault was the 3rd best defenseman in Quebec's roster.

I think you are right SC74. If it is true that Marc Biega did not get into Harvard as expected, I could see him going to the Remparts in exchange for Owen Werthner and Michael McNamee (who are rumoured to be going to to Sherbrooke in a pre-arranged deal).

Roy let Sherbrooke select Comtois and Archambault who will be two of Sherbrooke's best players next season. He could have protected them because he probably protected some lesser players like Walsh and Rioux.

Some other teams supposedly had deals with Sherbrooke as well. Like Bathurst who only lost Turnbull. Sherbrooke is supposed to send picks later for him.

For Turnbull, the Titan get the first pick of the 2nd round from Sherbrooke.

I expect the Titan to turn this pick and another 2nd round pick into a 1st round pick for this year.....or maybe trade a 2013 pick which they got an abundance.

Biega has 3 options

Go to USHL and try entering into Harvard again next year.

Go to a different university.

Go to QMJHL
