Considering how fast we finish usually, may be we can start a bit later from now on? Would give us a closer representation of the draft order.
Yeah, I've thought we start a bit early, but when you consider we do 7 rounds I guess I just wanted to make sure we'd have enough time.

But now that we've gone a few years with many of the same guys, we can probably start in middle of May next year rather than end of April.

I just always get really excited around this time of year and want to jump right into it.

Not only that but the guys that had to leave for some reasons were incredibly great at giving their list, letting people know in advance and all that stuff....posters were great this year. Everybody should get their ticket for next year!

I, for one, would like to do it after the combine. I think at this point it's possible to put together a GM list that can easily get it done.

I'd actually love to see a 2nd mock draft (perhaps 2 going at the same time) take place on this board with each having its own list of completely different posters. Would actually be pretty cool comparing the 2 after completion..to see which poster did the better job with their respective clubs.. etc..

Ask in the draft thread. This is a mock draft.

Nice job!

Trouba falls from 7 to 9. Only two spots but if Dumba was available in this mock, I would have taken him too.

My 9th pick Rielly, went 5th.

I'm starting to think my Athanasiou pick at 39 may have been a little early to take him..

Both my 1st rounders did not make it in the 1st round. But my 2nd rounder Matheson jumped up into the 1st...

I'll gloat as far as Samuelsson who I had picked 55 in the mock draft went 27....but that will be it for me. Slepyshev will slide as predicted. Cangelosi might not be pick and the others well they might go around where I picked them. We'll see tomorrow.

Hampus Lindholm. I was pretty confident he would go higher on draft day.

But that makes no difference, we can see the real results in 7 years.

I'd just like to give myself a pat on the back for this mock. I shared Detroit with Grant Mcagg, but the three players I picked (2nd round, 3rd round and 7th round) - Patrick Sieloff, Theo Blugers and Jordan Martinook - all went in the second. Especially happy about Martinook, I couldn't believe he was still there in the 7th.

Both my 4th round picks went in early 3rd, and Vesey went to Nashville. Yay.

And now Patterson goes to Detroit in the third round. Grant selected him for Detroit in the 5th. This is quite the draft we're having.

So.....did my 1st round pick took the biggest fall in the history of the Mock Draft????

Add the fact that Cangelosi, Kile and Andrighetto weren't picked....it tells me that I'll stop looking for homeruns and play it like a real draft next time. I promise I'll be more conservative next year.
