I hope he's saying he's gone.

He said he hadn't confirmed it but discussed Christensen being a top-6 or bust guy who didn't have the skills to consistently be in Minnesota's top-six.

He's an ok player, but no I wouldn't have signed him. Too many prospects, not enough roster space.

I think Christensen had the skills, but he wasn't a Yeo player. I think he didn't have the right attitude to make the top six with the Wild. Watch him be top 10 in scoring next year

Nobody in the NHL wanted him.

yeah, man. i thought that was obvious. Skoula was an allstar for godsake. Another Wild cast off is frequently a leading scorer--Mattias Weinhandl. Stuff like that makes me say "errr..okay" when people try to convince me the KHL is almost on par with the NHL.

Christensen's Wild career summed up rather well.

And he doesn't even know that. Free agency doesn't open until July.

Why wouldn't he know that?

He already signed with a KHL team. That's probably why.

And 7th overall glad you showed up the last five ****ing games to get those much sought after points we needed for the 7th overall, I as a fan am so relieved we are not picking 5th or 4th overall.

It's thanks to you parise will say he wants to be here. He will cite that if we picked better then 7th he would not have signed here.

But on a serious note, hope you have a blast in Europe.

Wait he was a cute Asian chick?

Honestly I'm glad there is now no chance he's back. He was a one trick pony with us. No hate for the guy/player, and I hope he can find success in the K. I think their hockey style and to be honest more 'B' level talent on the whole should help him. Hope he likes beets.

Didn't Chris Simon win their skills competition a few years ago also?

Christensen will have a much better opportunity to play in the KHL. He just never fit in with the Wild except for the shootout and would likely be a frequent scratch in the NHL. Maybe he can be an all-star in the KHL. Skoula did very well with his Siberian team in the KHL playoffs this year and got defensive player of the month.
