I suspect that he's had discussions with several teams, this meeting is just the only one that has become public. I hope it leads to a new leadership in Cbus, but I don't really expect to see it.

After thinking about this a bit more, and my eternal optimism showing through, if he turned us down already, it may be pretty bad form to leak the interview. We've already had some bad press about people not wanting to be here, this would certainly add fuel to that fire..... Maybe he has verbally agreed, and CBJ office is putting pressure on him to follow through by leaking the story?

Not me, everything is well so far in the Davidson drama.. Even if it fails the faint notion of this organization opening up to the world of professional NHL expertise was worth a day of optimism.
The suggestion was that Davidson was determining whether he wanted to be part of the Jackets, not whether the Jackets was determining whether they wanted him. This would suggest that the Jackets went after him.
They're is just so much negativity surrounding this franchise and team, it's refreshing to hear that someone wants to at least come in and be a part of the solution. No matter how you see it, I find it depressing to continually hear that no one wants to come to columbus. Grinds my gears.
