Would you invite him to camp if you were Bergevin?

Undrafted, Patrick's youngest son finished 4th in scoring in the QMJHL. Nothing exceptional for an overager, but I'd still give him a shot.

Start by inviting him to the prospect camp after the draft.

Why not might be a better question any player that can score like that and has Patrick Roy's blood flowing thru him should at the least be given a chance to show what he's got.

My uncle is a Remparts fan and every year--sometimes twice a year--I visit him and we go to the Pepsi center to watch a game. Funny thing is, this year, he was all pumped up about a great young player on his team, and I figured he was talking about Grigs. But no, he was thrilled to tell me that the best player on the Remparts (stats wise at least) was Roy. I tried to explain to him why Grigorenko had so much buzz going for him while Roy didn't, but he didn't really get it.

But anyway, I'm all for inviting him to training camp. He could be a Max Lapierre type of player if he develops properly. Who I always liked. Never really understood why he was traded away/not used much by Martin. A shame.

Bah with his size if his name was not Roy most people would not give a crap. I guess it can't hurt to invite him.

Give him a shot. If he does well, give him a chance with the ECHL or AHL. And his size is a deterrent, but not a game ender (see Desharnais, David)
