Derian Hatcher -3

Peter Forsberg -2

When your best players are minus players in the game, you don't win

No. Absolutely not.

There is no injury or pair of injuries or trio of injuries that has this team playing poorly. It's a lack of consistency and effort, and it seems like the team just doesn't get it.

To say "they need soandso back" is just to avoid the real problem. Flyers fans have been saying that since mid-January, and it hasn't changed anything.

Do you know what's sweet music to a Devil fan, your whining about how boring they are. That can only mean that they frustrated the other team by playing their game and most likely won. When other teams fans aren't whining that usually means bad news for the Devils. So here’s to whining!

That seems to be the only justification for being a Devils fan...

Question: what is all the talk of potluny playing for the Flyers, is that an option right now?

Also KJ skated 30min today WITH Primeau it is a little wierd that Primeau would be starting rehab so quickly unless he was trying to get back for the Playoffs.

All the motivation I would need is to look at the ring on his hand

Flyers were heartless. They don't show up and start playing until they're trailing. That is unacceptable.

I'm an Anti-Esche/Pro-Nitty fan, but wow, Niittymaki was not on top of his game. Something I've noticed about him recently, which is irking the hell out of me, is he's giving up really weak 5-hole goals that would be stopped if he "KEPT HIS FRIGGIN STICK ON THE ICE IN FRONT OF HIS PADS." In the last few games I've seen two possibly three goals he's given up where he drops to his knees, slides across the crease and has his goal stick at his side, rather than flush to the ice and the puck squeezes through the gap. Deflection or not, if he had his stick down, he makes the save.

This team is in trouble if they keep streaking a bunch of wins and a bunch of losses.

they're still trying to sort themselves out... i thought the game was much closer than the score suggests. give credit to the devils for blocking a TON of shots and taking advantages of the opportunities to score that came up for them.

This is a weird team. Jeckyl and Hyde. They win convincingly over Ottawa, lose unimpressively to the Devils. This team never seems to play well and fall short, they either play well and win, or play horrid and lose. I just don't get it.

I really feel bad for fans in Philadelphia who have actually paid to watch today's game, or any of their recent work at home for matter. It's pathetic that this team just can't get motivated during home games, those are games that everyone should come out flying.

not defending the teams loss but having to suffer through the trap when the devils score the first goal is brutal

Maybe if we weren't 73 games into an 82 game season I could live with that excuse, but we are 73 games into an 82 game season and NO team at this point should be "trying to sort themselves out." There is zero consistency, and ever since (about) the new year they've playing with a large lack of heart.

i thought that we played a great game in the offensive end, minus not being able to put the puck in the net witch was so frustrating.

our real problem are the random defensive lapses that occur about 5 times a game and burn us evertime.

this "team" hasn't even really played 15 games as a group with all of the turnover... under normal circumstances, they would have come together by december/january... but we didn't have half of these guys in the lineup by then.
