Not true. We are going from 110 to 212. We are 30+ year season ticket holders. All depends on seniority.

No, every year when you renew your subscription you can check a box that says you are interested in a seating relocation. This is that relocation process.

I met with my rep. today and he told me that when my date comes along 6/25 10am I can move to any open seats in the whole arena. I then can keep checking to see if anything opens up. He told me that a decent amount of STH,s were afraid of locking into the seats assigned for a variety of reasons (no aisle, high row per price point etc) and there might be some more than usual movement in the first few days but after that it will be business as usual and it is strictly based on seniority and if you did not renew you are placed ahead of new subscribers but lose your seniority.

We are now Section 212 Row 4 aisle seats which are $79 and our lower bowl seats in section 110 row 15 would have been $114 so we are saving $35 per game per seat.

We moved because 1) it was getting real expensive and wouldnt be realistic in a few seasons to keep the tickets. 2) didnt like the site lines behind the goal as you lose the corners and the net is a little annoying. 3) the people are different each game and we wanted to move up to be with the "real fans" again. 4) We wanted to move more to the middle of the ice.

Hopefully we'll see some HF Board fans up there

$114? I think they will be $132. 110 row 15s are $120 this year. You are paying $120 this year and think they are going to $114?? I'm in row 8 and they are $165 going to $170. So you got special treatment and got upgraded before everyone else?

Guess membership has its privileges. 30+ years is a longstanding tenure so I have no problem with some special treatment.

On a related note, I was wondering why I hadn't received my email with the upgrade info. Turns out it went into my junk mail folder...that never happened before. I'm scheduled for the morning of the 21st.

I would think one also would remember what their seats cost with 30+ years of loyalty.

For the guys that have early upgrade times can you take a screen shot of what is left over so we can get a ruff idea on what's left for newer STHs

There's really not much point in that as very little, if anything, that is available on day 1 for the longest tenured subscribers to choose from will be available even 2 or 3 days later. It's a fluid process. Generally there there will be a shift towards lower rows in each section and towards center ice. Obviously some people will be relocating from more expensive seats to less expensive ones, but the general direction is the same.

I'm on the 26th at 10:00 am, but I only have a tenure since 2009 so I'm near the end of the list. Supposedly my rep has "special arrangements" for me, whatever that means

Remember that seats will continue to open up as the process moves along. So even if nothing is available the first week of relocations, by the time your day comes around some good options may have opened up. That's why I love the fact you can continually check the website throughout the summer to see what's available -- I assume there is no limit to the amount of times you can change seating assignments?

Does anyone know if you commit to an upgrade can you keep on trying to improve your seats or are you done with this process?

I renewed only recently because my rep promised me a switch to someplace I was happy with, as long as I gave the normal deposit. I spoke with him earlier today and he said I won't be using that online tool, instead he is calling me at my upgrade time to discuss one-on-one.

I guess I can just check out the online tool after that phone call to see how it works.
