That maybe but isn't it also possible that Jordan also wants to be the man of his own team? I mean think about it he's been in the shadows of crosby and malkin in the penguins team and now if he shifts to the canes, he will be under the shadow of Eric Staal.
That being said, it's also very possible he believes to create a crosby - malkin punch in the canes organization ?
I'd love to find out from a hockey insider, what they think will happen in the new CBA and I wonder how much players will be looking at cashing in on long term deals prior to the new CBA being announced. I'm sure we'll see several Ehrhoff like signing bonuses.
