Wonder what Bettman's thinking about scheduling Game 5 for Saturday. Now he has to compete with Game 7 between the Celtics and the Heat.

TV, TV, TV.

Saturday night = hockey night in Canada. Friday night is a ratings wasteland in the US and Canada.

Normally the finals of the NBA and NHL alternate days. Not so in this lockout-delayed basketball season.

Exactly, which is why I believe they will win.

I believe. I'm just cautious. I just know if they don't do it, it will be worse than my 49ers failing to get past the Giants in the NFC Championship after controlling the game.

I still see NJ winning game 5 and everyone jumping on the NJ bandwagon. Kings will have their road streak ended, but the Kings will close it out in 6.

I just hope the pressure isn't gonna swallow up the Kings. Yeah they have some guys who have been in the finals, but a majority of the team is young or in this scenario for the first time. It's very visible in their play when the Kings get nervous, I just hope Sutter can reel them in if they drop game 5.

I suspect it is more about the other team then it is nerves, worry, or fear.

The Kings looked lifeless in their Game 4 loss against Phoenix and came back strong, even if it had to go to OT to seal the victory. I think some of you are a bit too finicky about the loss.

The Elias goal was from a rebound and he got behind the Kings' dmen who didn't cover him. That can be cleaned up. The Henrique goal was a perfect shot and the setup was created by a Kings turnover at center ice. That can also be cleaned up.

They weren't outplayed by the Devils, but they certainly could execute better and I think they know what is at hand and are taking the proper approach in not thinking behind or ahead. Just focus on your next shift.

That's what I believe as well. Devils will only have 1 travel day after game 5. Quick turnaround will help the kings at home.

I hope not or I'm going to feel really stupid driving up and paying for those tickets

We're not going to drop Game 5. I had some doubts on Wednesday, but not now. The Kings will not lose this game.

I'm not even going to bother trying to predict these games anymore. I've been wrong about all 4 games in this series.

Shouldn't you predict a NJ win then

Just read that Brown has just three assists in 13 games against NJ. Zero goals.

Tomorrow would be a great time for his first.

In theory, yes. Knowing my luck, it would backfire. So i'll leave it alone.

This is kind of my feeling too. So far, this series hasn't been any different result-wise, than round one or round 3.

They seem less nervous on the road than at home, though I've only been able to watch bits and pieces so I may have just caught them at bad times.

I heard a rumor ... that if Brown doesn't score a Hat-Trick tomorrow he might get traded ?
