Russia looks to be a serious threat early on in the tournament. A 4-1 beat down is pretty impressive. I'm very interested to see how they play throughout the Euro. They could be World Cup contenders in two years.

The Euros is not a non-Sharks NorCal sport. It meets the non-Sharks test, but it's not NorCal, and it's questionable that it's a sport since it can end in a zero to zero tie.

You mean it is like what the nhl was for 85 years or so?

That was a Barry Bonds type McCovey cove HR by Mitch Moreland. If Wash doesn't like the guy and keeps benching him, I'm sure they could make room for him at 1b in Oakland.

And I have to say, I was wrong about Gregor Blanco. He has a obp of almost .400 and has a high baseball IQ. He looks like a solid acquisition so far.

Does anyone know what's wrong with Lincecum? I know his velocity is down a few ticks, but is that really making him that much worse? The strikeouts are still there, and his FIP is a respectable 3.66. I traded for him in one of my fantasy leagues a few weeks ago, thinking that he'll turn it around, but he hasn't.

As long as we have Bumgarner and Cain locked up long-term, the Giants should be fine.

That would be 12 strikeouts and 1 ER in 7.2 for Bumgarner.
