Honestly, if Brodeur steals the game, I make sure I get some contact on him, like they have on Quick. Sitting on his head or bumping him on the way by on purpose. The Kings play goalies cleanly and other teams do not.
I don't let him leave the game without contact. I'm not saying run him. Just make him uncomfortable.
The second period is going to be the biggest period for the kings. They need to get the lead before the third to have a chance.
Devils played their worst period and are ahead 1-0. Kings missing the net and getting shots blocked. Refs arent going to call anything on NJ.
Mitchell interference a make up call for clarkson? Probably.
the refs only called one penalty in the first. We got away with a few too. I think they are letting them play this game. The Kings are playing well, just got to get some pressure around the net.
Not the refs fault. Martinez got away with a high stick right before the Mitchell call. That goal was ALL Quick's fault.
Brown was high sticked too. I'm not complaining about a single missed call, but a body of missed calls without a single call against the Devils for the whole period.
No reason to play the NJ "what if" game. It is 1-0 devils. It's how the kings come out in the second that matters.
16 straight wins in the final for the team that scores first.
Wrong. The Kings came out fine in the first and will in the second. This series from now on depends if Quick can step up and match Brodeur, which so far, he's been waaay behind.

Kings will get penalties.
NJ knows that they won't get a penalty, so they bump quick whenever possible.

How is that wrong? First period is over. Only the second period matters now. You can't assume they will play the same in the second. NJ will more likely play better. Kings need to match with an even stronger second.
Oh yea, and hockey gods are with us once again tonight. Devs can get a bounce but can the Kings? Curse of being a Kings fan? lol JK(I hope that won't be the case at least).

It's wrong because even though the Kings have played great, Quick let the team down. So I'm saying the can come out playing great again, and if Quick let's them down again there's nothing they can do.

I say they slash his glove hand off and stomp on Parise's hurt ankle.
