If NJ wins 4 in a row they deserve the cup. Kings have really been unlucky these last 2 games though. It sucks making it this far to lose, especially after being up 3-0.

Kings need to approach Game 6 like it's Game 7. Quick's gaffe aside, Kings kept NJ's chances to a minimum, but once again the Kings' lacked intensity and didn't push back hard enough.

The chances were there, but I didn't see them playing like they were in the previous games. They need to come out flying, dictating the play with an up tempo game.

The Kings also need Kopitar and Brown to step it up again. They've been huge all playoffs long but have been silent the past two games.

No need to panic now, they still lead the series and need that next win, which we're seeing is the toughest win to achieve. Nobody should've expected New Jersey to lay down without a fight.

I guess we shouldn't have used up all of our Goals on Game 3.

Get used to other teams scoring because Quick doesn't know when to stay in net? Alrighty then.

"sorry sacks" because they've just lost two games to a good team(have to be to make the finals) after everything the Kings have done this post season as complete underdogs. This poster right here is someone that just doesn't understand Hockey.

And you're supposedly a canadian to boot. tsk....bandwagoner no doubt.

Well, I'm never going there.

I would say I've seen worse... but I haven't

Just do it in 6 in front of the home crowd (and Charlie Sheen).

What's your problem? It's 50-50. We could either see a replay of Game 3 or Game 4. I want to feel good about this so I'm leaning towards the former.

The Kings and Quick need a shutout. Anything less and I'm pretty sure they are losing at this point

As for putting in Bernier, I don't see that as an overreaction, the Kings always seemed to play harder when he is in net. Might as well try something since what they're doing right now doesn't seem to work.
It's hard for us to expect the Kings to act like they've been in this position before and not panic when they can taste the Cup with posts like this. I love all us Kings fans right now but really man?

You're advocating playing with 5 d-men and benching the best goalie in the world?

If the team's going to crack under the pressure, let's not follow them down that path.

Bernier in, Loktionov for Voynov on D, if they lose you're done....wow. Come on guys.

By starting Bernier, even if for only one period, it sends a message to the rest of the Kings that they need to step up or sit down.

Love em', Hate em'...Welcome to LA Kings Hockey! LMMFAO!

So who's gonna introduce the Elephant in the Room to the Kings fans that came after 1993?

Holy Crap man, this club never ceases to amaze me with their consistent redefining of the word "Fail".

Just trying to stay positive. But if we lose Game 6, I'll feel much worse than you feel right now.

Good thing about having home ice now, is that we can put DD against the Parise line.

Sutter has to try some line changes. What do you guys think about taking Gagne out, and putting Richie back in? Looks like it's gonna take Gags sometime to be in full game mode.

They hit 2 or 3 posts. Much like NJ did in gm 1.

They'll do it in gm 6 (i.e. what else is there to say?)

Step up or sit down? Do you think the Kings are unaware of how important these games are? Removing Quick and putting in a ice cold goalie who hasn't played in months is a terrible idea.

Not sure if there is anything Sutter can do.
Not sure I agree- I thought they played well enough to win, 3 goal posts and a bad goal against during a pretty weak penalty call (not weak in the sense it wasn't a penalty but weak in the sense it was the only interference called). Thought Richards was going to have one of those crazy short-handed shifts; bet he wishes he had shot instead of trying the extra move around the defenceman. Wish they wouldn't make Brodeur look so good; it's causing CBC to start to wax poetic about the Devils. If the Kings lose the next one (and let's hope they don't), pressure moves onto the Devils but the story line will be can Brodeur bring them back and win both the SC and Conn Smyth and that friggin' ticks me off.

Because you don't tell a goalie that plays a position that is highly instinctual and rooted in confidence to not do things. You do that and you'll neuter that confidence and thus hinder his performance. You take the good with the bad.

Quick's been the direct cause of as many goals in the playoffs off puck handling mistakes as the greatest puck handling goalie ever on the other team.

It's been a tight series. As much as that goal is Quick's fault, Brodeur gifted us some softies in the first two games as well. And Marty has had all the luck go his way these last two games (how many posts and shanked open nets is it at in the last 6 periods)? The games have all been tight and things are going to go back and forth. Luckily for the Kings, who seem scared to death to lose, basically everything has had to go right for New Jersey these last two games to squeak out wins.

Brodeur is schooling quick right now.

Quick looks rattled. Brodeur is just laughing at the kings. I expect a wink in game six.
