As the draft approaches, the Panthers have the following on the trade block:
- one of the most well rounded players in the SIM. Should be a first team all star this year (in the HFNHL). His contract for next year will sit at $6.8 million. Pretty reasonable, all things considered.
Mark Streit OR Andrei Markov
- Streit is another very well rounded defensive veteran. Among the highest offensive ratings in his position, combined with usually above average defensive ratings. His contract is awesome too, with 2 more years left at 4.1 million. Markov is coming off injury issues but can hopefully have a good season next year. He's got 2 more years at 5.75 million. Markov would come cheaper than Streit, but I only want to move one of them.
- has definitely declined but still has decent ratings. Contract isn't ideal at $4 million a season, but that's why his price tag would be as low as a mid round pick.
UFA Rights to Mike Knuble and Ed Jovonovski
- their current HFNHL contracts are high for what they've become, but could be a way to bargain down, if you should so choose. Could come cheap.
