I won't be there but it is sure nice to know you'll be able to watch game 5.

I'm still waiting to fulfill this dream of mine to watch a Devils game.

Please take pictures and post them here

Guys, let's give the Swedes some tips on visiting NYC.

I suggest buying a daily MetroCard for $7 and using the subway to get around.

Popular spots to visit in Manhattan are Times Square, Wall Street, Battery Park, Central Park, The Village, Highline Park (used to be a raised railroad turned park, really cool don't miss this).

Food you must try: 53th St & 6th ave halal mixed gyro platters from the street cart. S'mac Macaroni & cheese on 12th st & 2nd ave. Grey's Papaya on 6th ave & 9th St (hotdogs).

Met some great friends these past days! Thanks a lot for making this trip unforgettable!

Obviously I have a couple of days left, but I'll be posting a bigger report from the trip when I get back home.

IMO, Highline is pretty lame, there's not a lot to see/do in Battery Park, and your food options are some of the worst touristy overrated things in NYC.

Glad to hear you've been having fun! Are you able to go to Game 7 if the Devils win tomorrow?

Nobody. I admit a visitor might find the Highline interesting, but those food options were just awful. I mean, if you want to list touristy food places you could have mentioned Lombardis and Shake Shack, at least those places are good enough that even locals eat there.

I know locals who love Highline. It's actually a great date spot, considering its proximity to all the hot little bars, eateries and clubs in the meatpacking/village area.

These guys ARE tourists, so why wouldn't they find it interesting

As for the food options, people drive from Jersey to NY often just to grab a bite at those places so this is te first time I've heard anyone say that. People swear by 53rd & 6th, S'macs is heaven in a frying pan, & Grey's Papaya is iconic. How could you be in NYC and not have a hot dog at Grey's? Locals eat Grey's all the time!

The places you mentioned are great, but I've never heard of tourists flocking to eat there or have seen those places featured in movies for example.

I think you guys are overreacting a bit
