Bourque is a third liner, he's not the same type of third liner as a guy like Moen but at this point he doesn't look like he's able to play top 6 opposition wich any real top 6 player should be able to do.
Then sticking him with Eller will give him easier minutes/matchups.

And we very much need to try rolling 3 scoring lines, most good teams don't use the old model of 2 scoring lines + 1 shutdown line, the shutdown line is usually the first line on good teams, if it isn't it's usually the second.

Nowadays teams use more of an "outscoring" model, your first line tries to outscore the other team's first line, same with the second line and the third and we're even beginning to see teams doing that with their fourth line (remember Pouliot-DD-Darche last year).

I really don't think you know as much as you think you do. There's a little thing called situational hockey, and thus the premise of rolling 4 "score more than the opposition" type lines doesn't work...

Generally the easiest matchups for the Habs top nine have been Desharnais' line while Eller took the secondary matchups. What line strategy the new coaching staff employs is completely up in the air at this point though.

Regardless, the best way to get something out of Bourque next year is going to be on one of Eller or Desharnais' wing depending on the situation.

I meant power on power. Wich does work since that's what the majority of the good teams are doing. By score more than the opposition I simply meant that in that scenario you would ideally want each lines to win their matchups.

What would the Preds want? Could they even get a decent deal for him?

Would a guy like Markov be able to settle this kid down? Seems like a real long shot, a real long shot to stay in the NHL...

Way too much, I guess.

But I would not want that cancer in the Habs' room.

They won't get a lot ,that is for sure.

And let's be perfectly honest , Radulov is better than any player will draft this year at 3, 4, 5 ,6, 7th round.....Chances are some/most of these picks will never play for Habs ever.....so Radu is little risk as you can bank on 60-80 point next year from him /

I say get a deal done for his rights .

Hello guys..

I really feel bad for predators now; they had a chance to unload him when we traded Kostitsyn, and they did not; they got greedy, and look how it back fired on them, would they have performed better in playoff without Rudulov distraction?

I'd offer them their pick back, and I think that should seal the deal.

It would seem more likely that Radulov,Semin and the Kostitsyn's are all heading to the KHL.One of the Oil Giants teams are said to be anxious to sign a few NHLers and they top the list.Nashville just can't buy a break,if Suter goes then Shea Weber will follow next season no doubt.Montreal should make a serious bid for Suter and draft Galchenyuk or Forsberg and let someone else take Murray.Dumba on the other hand is really hard to pass on.

Which second-rounder would land us Radulov? 2012 or 2013?

Didn't have enough questionable players? Mikhail Grabovski, Sergei Kostitsyn, Andrei Kostitsyn, then Alexander Radulov?

Are there questionable players on the Rangers? On the Bruins?

I suppose you started watching hockey 3 months ago.

He said it in an interview "I was young and thought I could do whatver I want". He was a problem player.

Chicago had problematic players just as the Kings gave right now. I believe that if you can get a guy like Radu for cheap you go for it. Look at Price he strainghten his **** and now he's gold.

If he's too expensive, give it up and let someone else overpay for him.

We're not going to beat the Rangers and the Bruins with players like Darche and Diaz and Geoffrion. Sometimes you have to roll the dice and try add some skilled pieces.

Your constant ramming down our throats with your pro "enforcer" style hockey is amusing to no end.

Radulov would be my choice before bringing back either one of the Kostitsyn bros.
