Schultz + 11 + BOS 2nd for Hjarmalsson + Frolik + 18 + 3rd.

Frolik I am assuming has cap dump value.

You realize the depth in this draft is ****, right? I'll take McNeill over Girgensons, Ceci, Faska or anyone else available at 10-12.

You're expecting a team to give you something of value in your quest to move up?

That's the problem with these proposals from the get-go, most people here don't understand that teams don't really move valuable assets, and when they do it's going to involve receiving some of the other teams garbage as well.

So many of these proposals are laughable because they're often in the tone of "I want these prospects/players, but hell no I'm not taking your garbage with them... and I'm certainly not giving up anything of significant value." If HFBoards was the NHL trades would never be agreed upon, too many people want too much and are unwilling to compromise/roll the dice.

A nice new pylon is just about the value of Frolik and 3rd though, so what's the problem?

We give up Hjalmarsson, a Top4 D on a contender

Everyone should just ignore anything BWC says.

ANyway, we can't move Hammer to move up in the draft since we have no other legit top 4 d men (besides Keith and Seabrook obviously).

Any interest in #18 + K. Hayes for #10-12 + 2nd rounder?

Boston? That was the Kings who traded up to the 15th spot from 19 in the 2010 draft...I remember because the draft was in LA that year and i was there and we all went crazy when they announced that we moved up..

Your not moving up 8 spots for any less then a 1st or a recent 1st round draft pick.

On Sabres board everyone thinks that #12 & #21 isn't even enough to move up to #7, so how do you expect to move up even more spots for a less attractive asset?!

He would NOT be a top 10 pick in this draft, not a chance in hell. I don't understand why people keep labelling drafts as weak/strong before they even happen. Why can't we all wait 5 years and assume all drafts are relatively close in talent and deem them terrible/amazing when we look back on them (five+ years later) like 1999 and 2003?

It was worth a shot

Pretty sure my neighbors think Wideman's first name is "Dammit".

Because that would make too much sense.

I still have yet to hear from anybody about the idea of...
#18 + K. Hayes for #10-12 +2/3rd rounder

Not sure If Girgensons will be around at 15, but I'm pretty sure he will be. What about 18 + Hjalmarsson to Ottawa for 15? Would we have to add?

EDIT: Upon rethinking, we obviously have to add. What about Matt Puempel, last year's 24th overall, plus our 4th?

It's a big risk to move Hjalmarsson without a clear replacement, but this deal would have me thinking about it for a good long time.

Do this deal, throw a nice contract at Jackman on July 1st, and draft the best defenseman available at 11 and Girgensons at 16.

Would throwing in Schultz and removing the 16th/18th swap make it more or less interesting for Chicago?

Considering Schultz is terrible and overpaid it would be bad

Considering you hate every player not in a Blackhawks jersey, I don't particularly care what you think.

Who knows Zemgus Girgensons might be available at the 18th spot you never know what is going to happen in a draft and what players will fall and rise.
