They all should be ready for training camp, at least kadri should be, Since he said today, its just 5 to 6 week thing. Normally grade 3, means 8 months. but i guess its not serious. get well soon everyone.

I believe it was 5/6 weeks originally when his injury first happened. He's 2/3 weeks away from being good to go currently

He still needs to bring it out, I understand the injuries have hindered his performance but I still think for the NHL he needs a bit more seasoning IMO. I really like Colborne and honestly wish he could get to his true potential. However, for now he should focus along with the other two on rehab and full conditioning to get back recharged in the next season.

I'm actually DELIGHTED to hear that Colborne has a serious injury, I've been hoping this was the case for quite a while.

I am assuming so you can tell people to shut up on how they were ripping on him? If thats the case Ill allow this post if not, you might not like the other option

I had a hunch and especially after the previous post Kyle interviewed him.

Not really people ripping him, just that it explains why he's fallen off the map as a legit prospect. I have been hoping to hear he was battling an injury once the playoffs ended so I can rationalize his poor play.

Very true and glad to hear tbh. He was ripping it on such a level, I didn't expect from him at all.

Always interesting to learn about the walking wounded and inspiring to hear how some of these guys can push on regardless. Where's that guy that was ragging on Kadri for nursing some fake injury? Probably wiping the egg off his face.

I remember a Colborne vs. Ashton thread or something along those lines where majority of posters were saying how Colborne was so overrated because of how well he started the season and he hasn't done anything since and they'd take Ashton over Colborne every time. Anyone else remember that?

Def a concern with Kadri. I like many of you had a sep shoulder playing hockey, mine the third degree. I am sure he will get the best help out there, mine was never the same tho.

It's nice to know there's a reason why Colborne's production tailed off other than him being a dud, but then you have to wonder what MLSE is thinking running an injured prospect like that all season long instead of shutting him down and giving him the proper rehab...

Considering Kadri would have been ready in a week or so, I doubt it'll be a permanent/long term injury.

I have no clue why Colborne kept playing. He should have been shutdown from the start.

That's all you need to know about the objectivity of certain users.

Hope these kids get healed up quickly and completely.

That sucks for Kadri and Colborne, but they'll be ready to go. IMO, Kadri and Frattin will be on the team in the fall.

I had a slight shoulder separation a couple of years ago, got it from trying to hop a fence to grab a baseball but I ended up falling on my shoulder. I haven't been able to throw a ball with any kind of consistency since then. It sucks. Keep in mind though, that I barely got any attention for my injury, haven't really been diligent with my rehab, etc. Kadri is getting world class attention and has millions of dollars riding on his recovery.

Wow that's crazy. It took me 5 months to recover up to 90% and mine wasn't nearly as serious. It happened a year and a half ago and it still bothers me if I sleep on it funny.

And yes I was getting lazer and ultrasound treatment, rehab and everything else imaginable.

That holds out more hope for Colborne. I have went to a few Marlies games in the playoffs, and he definitely seemed to have the vision, in that the puck seemed to follow him all game. He made some nice reads and broke up plays, but he never took a single shot. I was thinking with his IQ he could have made a good defensive third line center, but if his offense comes back he might be a little higher.
