Hopefully Quailer gets his contract after this development camp.

Would be nice if they signed Aaron Dell, the Hamilton Bulldogs need a good prospect between the pipes. Peter Delmas is a scrub.

Other big story lines is Avtsins progression, MacMillans progression, and Pribyls progression. Those are our three dark horse forward prospects, hopefully 2 out of 3 become something.

Aaron Dell is there. Wasn't there a rumour that the Habs offered him a contract last season?>

Yeah, but he turned it down.

No Josh McFadden, or Etienne Brodeur ?

Habs must like Dell, or like Quattrochi he's a family friend.

Think Walsh, or Qualier get a contract ? Both? Neither ?

The following players are not invited to camp: Some may be for legit reasons; other may no longer have a future with the habs.

Fortier
Kishel
Nygren
Nash
Bishop
Masse
Conboy
Mitera

Fortier, Kishel, Bishop, Masse and maybe Mitera probably don't have a future.

Nygren, Nash, and Conboy are a surprise to me.

EDIT makes sense for ELC

If you didn't notice, players at camp with NHL contracts are all under their entry-level contracts.

Sad for Fortier.
The guy definitely had a future -- injuries just derailed him.

They didn't mark Delmas as a player under contract. Most likely a mistake!

Maybe, maybe not, they say how players were acquired, well Delmas signed an AHL contract first...

I thought it was the same, sorry!

Brodeur had an horrible season.

2010-11: 53 goals
2011-12: 22 goals

And he was on a good team...

Nygren shouldn't surprise anyone anymore. The sooner they get him over here learning how to deal with the committed physical effort of a North American schedule, though, the better imo. I'd be surprised if he couldn't beat Diaz out of his spot right now, and I'm somewhat of a Diaz fan.

Funny Google translation of two year signing rumours circulating over there:

Magnus Nygren has under VF sport informed sources an important call to make, the Montreal Canadiens have offered him a two year contract.
The bomb: Montreal would have been "Nygga"

I would love to know what they really meant by that last part, lol.

"Nygga" (pronounced something like "Nugga", or Nougat if you're french ;-)) is his nickname, from Nygren.

You just never know, maybe Google meant to say

Montreal: would have been the bomb "Nygga".

I mean, it's just syntax, right?

he's gonna have to watch himself around PK.

As for Nygren, wasn't he a healthy scratch at some point with his team this year? Heard the guy can't even play D. I'll admit I've never seen him play, would like some opinions on him.

He played 60 of 66 games in the Elitserien, so not really.

Haha yeah we know, but that's not the same camp.

Thanks for the info though.

This camp is for our already drafted prospects, while Koekkoek was invited to the habs private combine before the draft

I was talking about the "(*) - Sous contrat avec le Club – Under contract with Canadiens" part.

He should have an asterisk next to his name just like Mayer, Berger and Lefevbre.
