Oh, and one more thing: JQ is very close to another shutout in this series...I believe he will get one, hopefully tonight.

Move Gagne up, then?

Ok.. that was a nice play but that is about ALL I think I've seen him do.

That kid's stick work and speed around the O-zone boards is missing BADLY. Yeah, Gagne has more natural skill in the open ice but Richardson's tenacious forecheck is sorely missed.

I dont like Gagne being in at this point. Not at all.
I endorse this post.

The Kings aren't going to win or lose because of Brad Richardson.
Well, if they aren't going to lose because of him, they might as well play him. Like the guy above you said, he is a lot more tenacious on the forecheck and Gagne isn't providing much of anything. If he scores tonight, I'll eat my words but I'd rather have Clifford or Richardson in before him.

No way! The guy hasn't play in almost 6 months. He shouldn't be in the line up unless there were an injury.

No mistakes tonight from Quick.

If I was making a change, I'd switch Clifford for Nolan as opposed to Richardson for Gagne. I also like the idea someone had of moving Gagne up for Lewis, but that would put one of King or Gagne on the right side.

He's been one of the more potent offensive players since being in the lineup, just hasn't converted.

Gagne = fast and accurate hands

Richie = fast feet.

Need hands to score. Gagne's presence on the ice opens space for his line mates and he's a couple of inches from having two goals already.
NJ has to pay more attention to Gagne then they do Richardson.

Good things happen tonight! GKG !!!

Look no further than the man in my avatar. Poor Stoll, he really was working his butt off last game but he just has zero finish.

He probably should have played baseball, that non-goal was the best hands he has shown since being traded to LA

All the Kings need to do is win one more game. Hopefully it is tonight. Composure and execution.

So the Kings could win the Cup and the post game show would be delayed until after the POST GAME show for a regular season baseball game?

Yikes, I realize its the freeway series, but still, it's a pretty weak rivalry anyways. Angels fans are to afraid to go to Dodger Stadium and the Dodger fans who go to games at the Big A are silent because the Angels have dominated the Dodgers for years.

The thing is FSW/PT is airing the same game on both networks, with each teams broadcast team. The Kings are on the verge of history yet once again we're given the back seat.

Really? Unless you think that Kopitar stopped shooting because Richardson is out of the lineup?

Quote:
Some have been resting part of the blame of the Kings' two game skid at the feet of Simon Gagne being in the line-up over Brad Richardson. Since he has been in the line-up, the fourth line's number have improved both in possession and scoring chances.

In the first two games of the final, Brad Richardson was -3 in shot attempts and -3 in scoring chances. In Gagne's 3 games he has been +10 in attempts and +6 in scoring chances. In addition Gagne's ice time has increased in each game and he even saw 3 minutes of ice time with the top line in Game 5. This would be a sign that the staff feels like he's in pretty good game shape.

Simon Gagne being currently in the line-up is making the Kings a better team.

Their predictions don't mean ****. Kings have to execute, that's all there is to it.

He hasn't looked like the best goalie in the world the past two games. Needs to step it up.

Nope, the best players need to be the best players. The Kings will not win unless Kopitar starts shooting again. Zero shots in game 4 and 5 combined.

Good luck tonight fellas. Hoping for an amazing game and I'm sure we'll get one. I'll be pissed if the Kings win but I can live with it since my team has finally shown they can play.

They better win, because a Game 7 could be the death of me.
