He has already agreed 1-year extension with Flyers.

End of discussion.

After that he will retire. I hope he don't retire and come to Detroit. I don't think he will stay in the NHL that long.

He signed a new deal with the Flyers. There's no point to this thread anymore.

He can't sign it because of the Flyers cap situation until July 1. I expect him to but Jagr has proved over the years he is nothing if not a mercenary. If the Wings beat that offer by a million he would sign here, I am not interested in them doing it however.

I read just yesterday that Jagr was still in contract talks with Philly, so can some one post a link that shows Jagr has agreed to a contract renewal?

I hear he wants a similar contract he got last season, which was 3.3M.

Please, I am begging you, sign him to a deal ASAP!! Of course this plea is directed at the Flyers. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if Jagr and his agent are floating rumors about Detroit to get every last dime out of Paul Homgren. Just do it Holmgren, give him everything he wants right now!

Sounds great! I hope DRW sign him for $10 million. Then they can come in 4th in their division next season, if there is a next season, and they still have a division. Only in NHL hockey would such fundamental principals be in question!

Let's not do the Jagr crap again this summer. At least last season he actually did talk to the Wings.
