Wow, Peter DoBoer had a classy response about the penalty. Nice.

Fraser talked about what it was like when he won the Cup with the Hawks. He and the other guys who weren't playing got dressed during the 3rd, so I would assume our guys did the same thing.

I guess what can you say now? There's no point in being pissy about it like the Coyotes were. The season is over time to move on for the Devils.

Funny to me that Jeff Carter is tied for the playoff lead in goals. I thought he was a lazy choker that wouldn't win anything. Apparently not!

A lot of painful years following this team since '67.

That pain was erased tonight.

Paul Holmgren must feel pretty stupid right now.

Will the Dodgers honor the Kings tomorrow or Wednesday at DS? I hope the Kings don't visit Angel Stadium. **** them. They're not an LA team. It's not like the Ducks were honored at DS in 2007.

Me too, man. I wish I was drinking and celebrating instead of going to work.

I think it's finally time I buy a new jersey. The Visnovsky jersey can retire next to Norstrom in the closet. Time for Kopitar.

I wonder if it was only the season long healthy scratches or was Jones and the Manchester Black Aces out there in uniform? Seems funny to have jerseys made for them when they never played. I'll be interested to see if they're in the parade.

This is the first hockey season I can remember that didn't end in heartbreak and disgust. What a strange, awesome feeling. I vaguely remember the Oilers' '88 Cup but I was too little to be super excited.

Redemption for he and Richards. I saw Richards give Gagne a nice little hug too. Good for them.

Knowing Magic Johnson, he will arrange something for them. I just hope that the whole team comes out.

I'm looking forward to Jarret Stoll's golf tournament in a few weeks in Saskatoon. I am totally going to shake his hand and see who all comes.

Edit: Argh, he's not doing it this year, the Schenns are.

And after Hayward tries to claim that Hiller is better than Quick Foxy pops him in the mouth with it?

Okay, time for me to get ready for bed after making a late meal for my last insulin shot of the night.

Again, I say, y'all are very awesome as fans. Go team go! (Said Grueller style.)

Party hard for me, LA. Just don't burn down the city. Leave it pretty until after the parade at least.
