Foster a healthy scratch?

Was Foster a healthy scratch the past few games? or is there a lingering injury?

Anyone know if he'll be back in the lineup tomorrow?

Pretty sure a healthy scratch. If I had to guess, I would think another dman will get to sit on Tuesday, but maybe he's not showing enough in practice and he'll get another night off.

We've got one extra defenseman now, so one of them is going to be a healthy scratch every night for the rest of the season. LeMaire said the other day that he's very happy with what Foster's shown him so far, but that he definitely needs to continue improving. Maybe Jacques thought that his growth rate had leveled off lately. Didn't he take a couple of dumb penalties the other day? I can't remember. Wasn't that him? If it was, that might be the answer. Jacques has pressboxed guys for a lot less than that in the past.

Foster's failure to clear the puck from the crease led to a goal on Tuesday and landed him in head coach Jacque Lemaire's doghouse. It's even possible may sit out a few more games before returning.
