With a better winger, Kovy could've had 2-3 breaks yesterday and two 2 on 1... Zednik is just brutal, his passing is deficient, his shot doesnt hit the target, when it does, it's a pee-wee slapshot. No doubt Kovy is pissed playing with him...

Come on, Zednik was awful some time ago but now he is getting his game back and you still want him to be benched.. more, you want him to be injured. He is playing his game, he almost scored one or two during last game and he made some good passes. And to talk a little bit about Kovalev, how did he miss 3 golden scoring opportunities in a row? wasn't he playing on the same line as Zednik? It's not all Zednik's fault, you're just trying to find some problems. What is important is the 2 points, it's encouraging to see that we win even when some players aren't playing their best hockey.

NO, don't injure him. It will hurt his trade value this summer.

I wish Zednik will take a shot and miss the target, the pucks goes into the crowd and hits you in the face.

Eh. Slowly, maybe. I mean at this pace he'll have his game back by next season. He's just not doing it for me.

Gainey would be better off with Murray plekanek and Kovalev on the second line. This would likely bring the finish and passing skill required and Pleks is a lot more efficient then Ribs in the offensive zone. Murray-Ribs-Kovy it could work but somehow I doubt it....

Take off your red colored glasses!

He has played HORRIBlE all year and all of a sudden he just "wakes up" and starts to play well.

Come on... you sound like a Leaf fan... the chances of this happening are pretty remote.

Every player will increase his intensity on both teams and Zednik can't even get it "up" for the regular season,

He is not the same player since the McLearn hit 2 years ago.

I'll laugh when Zed turns it on in the playoffs again, you freaking bandwagon fans.

Zed used to be much better than he is now. But remember he`s always been a slow starter. I bet he will wake up in the playoffs.
