I'm still at Staples, the team is partying it up at the club above, the San Manuel it's called, I think.

That's so dorky, but also endearing in a way.

For the first 3 hours after the win I was in total shock, couldn't speak, just absolutely stunned. I think it's finally starting to wear off because I just spent some time sobbing like a little girl...

Yep, Clifford dressed and so did the Black Aces. As a player, it would suck to hold the Cup while in a suit. Leave that for all the management, coaching and training guys.

I just got back from the game. This is the best day of my life. Unless my wife reads this, then of course it was our wedding day. Staples was electric, even the bathrooms were going off.

Crazy and emotionally exhausting. I didn't want to leave staples, even though I had been there 50 times this year.

To a man they were outstanding tonight, and I can't put into words what it's like to see them celebrate.

LOL. Bob brought up a good point. For the second time in a row, the team that started the season in Europe won the Cup.

Not sure it was the Black Aces, just every guy that has played a game this year (Muzzin/Westie/Parse/Cliffy/Richardson/Drewiske/Loki), plus Jones who I think dresses cause you dress 3 during the playoffs.

Wait....did Muzzin play a game this year? Jeez the start of the season seems like forever ago....

Yeah, I was just going to say that I don't think Muzzin played this year. He played the previous season where I remember him getting his first NHL assist.

Teams that have started games overseas have won 4 in a row now. It was up on the NHL Network. The last four champions have started overseas, and they were joking no one is going to win the cup next year because no one is scheduled to play overseas.

Been home a couple of hours now and still stoked. I am not sleeping tonight.

What a great experience. Putting three goals in on the five-minute major and I knew it was all over, no way were we going to lose tonight.

When Elias hit that crossbar near the end of the 1st, that just cemented it. Carter's goal was icing on the cake.

Playing keep-away in the third period was a no-brainer, and the Kings played it to perfection.

Was a little surprised they pulled Brodeur so early, and I absolutely lost my voice on goals 5 and 6. I told my son that it seemed fitting that the one time they broke the 5-goal barrier this year was in the Cup-clinching game.

I am going to enjoy this championship all Summer long. Opening night next season is going to be ****ING AWESOME!!!
