Less than 1 hour away from the start of Game 6. I have a bad feeling about this one right now as this series may end up going 7 considering the big jinx of ads selling Kings Stanley Cup Champions Gear. Anyone else see that here?
Keep riding their nuts even though they ended Rozi's NHL career and just got a five-minute PP after a no call for the same thing. What a joke.
and for the fourth year in a row the Stanley Cup champ opened the season in Europe.
Yep, I know where my bets in Vegas will be going next year. Of course, the teams opening in Europe will probably be the Islanders, Maple Leafs, Flames, and Stars... sigh...
We did open the season in Europe vs the Bruins and they won the cup. If anything, we blamed going overseas for the Coyotes having a ****** start to the 10-11 season.
The Devils handled themselves with real class at the end the game/series - despite having plenty to be upset about with the officiating. Brodeur, especially, was the model of class.
I hope the Coyotes were watching. The officiating in the Yotes-Kings series was awful, but that doesn't excuse Smith, Doan, Yandle, etc for the way they acted. It pains me to say that as a Coyote fan, but I was very embarrassed.
Lesson learned I hope and looking forward to OUR trip the SCF next year!!

That only chance of that happening is if the NHL is no longer the owner of this team.

I hear you, but keep in mind there's a HUGE difference between losing 4-3 in OT after a questionable non-call and getting your ass kicked in embarrassing fashion. The Devils lost the game within 10 minutes. There really wasn't much to be edgy about by the time they shook hands.
While I can understand others not happy the Kings won the Stanley Cup, I am certainly glad their fans(especially the long time ones) got to see their team win the cup. One of the reasons why is because almost all of them never wished for us to lose our hockey team, especially since LA has been the talk for many years of the relocationists to have them move out of California and up to Canada or somewhere in the Northern United States.

I fully agree and short of WCG Game 2 I thought Kings fans represented themselves well at Jobbing. Very different than Chicago, Detroit and many of the Canadian fans.

Chicago Fans were a big surprise to me as I have always enjoyed their company in the past and to see how many of them displayed themselves in the playoffs was far worse than even that of many Detroit Fans is a real shame.
Like I said before, you have fans of all kind no matter the team or sport.

The better team obviously won, but it's a shame a player (and subsequently his team) were rewarded for said player turning his back and not preparing for contact.... contact that he saw coming.

Carry over from some of our fans, too. The first game against the Kings, there were some Kings fans thrown out two rows ahead of us. All because a group of fans behind me whom I have never seen at games elsewhere in the past years threw trash at them. It was pretty bad.
