Good thing he's not trying out as the Jets new kicker.

The guys dirty. Has a reputation for being dirty and now there's speculation he was doping.

He'll fit right in somewhere. Probably Detroit.

I thought with the new NHL/KHL agreement--if he gets suspended by the KHL that rules out him coming to the nhl

No. There's no mention of suspensions in agreement and it expires on June 31.

I doubt this guy makes a team. 6 points isn't exactly thrilling for a PMD, I suspect the reason he had twice that in his best year is the same reason everyone else on Omsk saw a production drop.

Hint, the guy played for Philly this past year.

I thought, the NHL generally honored suspensions from IIHF federations in the recent past?

I don't mean to be a stickler but for clarity do you mean the end of June (30th) or July 31st?

I honestly did not know that was a banned substance by the KHL or NHL. It's actually in some of the pre-workout supplements I take. Guess I couldn't play in the KHL either. There are actually in a decent amount of pre workout supplements where it is labeled as geranamine. I even wonder if he took it on purpose or if it happened as more of an accident.

According to Wikipedia,
Quote:
Many professional and amateur sports bodies, such as the World Anti Doping Agency, have banned methylhexanamine as a performance enhancing substance and suspended athletes that have used it.
Doping control in KHL is performed by RusADA, which is Russian representative in WADA, that's probably why it's banned.

Ah, with PED abuse, he'd fit right in. But he's aware of the coming lockout, right?

Honestly the anti-doping agencies go over bored with what they classify as a PED. I'm surprised that haven't banned Caffeine yet as it is just as risky to take as geranamine. There is a company they uses it in one of their products. That product has had 5 different University studies on the product and have found it to be safe and effective.

Like I said from my own personal experience I do not see it as having much more of a performance enhancing effect then taking 200mg of caffeine before a workout.

I don't think that's even a banned substance in the NHL for the very limited drug testing the NHL performs.

A PMD that puts up 12pts in 54 games and then 6a in 50 games?

Unless PMD means something else now...he's a really crappy PMD.
