Visnovsky A Star

---

Lubomir Visnovsky

Steve Ott

Stars are very happy to announce that we have acquired top defenseman, Lubomir Visnovsky from the ducks.

We feel Lubo is a top pairing defeceman, and will be effective when paired with one of our existing top 4 defenseman. His experience should also help young blueliners Goligoski, and Larsen.

Ott was a good player for us, and is one of the better third liners in the league. We wish him good luck in Anahiem.

Barring any last minute offers the Matt Duchene sweepstakes are down to 3-4 teams which means that Paul Stasny will likely be staying in Colorado.

Also, a team has stepped into the drivers seat for Peter Mueller, so he could be gone before the end of the night.

Hossa+Crawford+2nd

Backstrom+Coyle+Latendresse+4th

Hossa finally finds a(nother) new home in Minnesota.

In return, Chicago solidifies their goaltending situation, feeling much more confident now after Crawford's cringe-inducing performance in this year's playoffs. We are also banking on Guillaume Latendresse returning to full health as he enters his prime, becoming a productive member of our top six. Lastly, Charlie Coyle will be given a chance to make the Hawks out of camp; we are very excited to add him to the prospect pool, and look forward to his continued development in Chicago.

We wish Marian and Corey all the best in Minnesota.

The 3rd overall is definitely in play and we are looking for a young top 6 forward with high potential. We already had some interesting discussions and the pick could be traded shortly.

Yannick Weber and Danny Kristo are also available for the best prospect or pick offered.

Listening to other offers.

PM!

Very underwhelmed by the offers for Nash so far. Taking offers on a lot of other things, including the 2nd overall.

FOR NASH: Young top 6 forward with higher potential, young top 4 defenseman, semi-overpaid/underperforming top 6 forward

Alright, offers are being taken for Schneider, Edler and Kesler but don't expect them to be moved unless overpayment

More likely to move:

Luongo - 4 offers. 2 actual offers
Booth
Raymond
Malhotra
Ballard
Alberts
1st 2012

Give me a Top 6 D, a #3C and a Top 3 D and I'm happy.

confirm. Very excited to bring in a player of Hossa's caliber. We would like to thank Backstrom, Latendresse and Coyle for their time here, and wish them the best in Chicago.

We are also pleased to announce the resigning of Josh Harding to a 3 year 3m per year contract.

Gilbert, Heatley, Cullen, most prospects, remain OTB. Will listen to offers on Koivu but would take extreme overpayment. Also looking to move up from 7th overall. Pm me if interested.

Anyone that trades for Bernier's rights is a fool.... he's getting a Max contract once UFA hits

Speaking of Game 6 though.....anybody know if the Kings are gonna give that referee a Cup ring? It would only be fair

Available
Rick Nash
Steve Mason
R.J. Umberger
Marc Methot
Derek MacKenzie
LAK 1st '12
CBJ 2nd '12
OTT 2nd '12

I want NHL ready players. I'm not crazy about picks unless they're top 10, and I'm not interested in prospects who I can't put into my lineup in this game.

For Nash, I want two young forwards and a young defenseman. AT LEAST one of them has to be a very significant piece. Do not expect to get him for your scrubs and prospects/picks. I don't have to trade him.

For Umberger/Mason/Methot I'm open to anything. We obviously want to upgrade in net.

Some of our picks and prospects could be used in packages, or to move up. We have two back to back picks at #30 and #31, and then #45. #2 won't be moved unless I'm blown away.
