The situation with the Canucks is now in arbitrary, VAN filed arb case against him could, I believe it strips Raymond of being a RFA, however he can be traded before the ruling and maintain his RFA status with a new team but the Canucks cannot walk away from a club elected case, all per Derren Dreger.
My thought is get a player who looked like a solid second line player for nothing, even though he has slacked off decently the last two years in terms of production, he is still worth a shot IMO and he could be had for cheap, if I'm not right with what Dreger said please tell me, also what would it take to get him, I would think not much

You want to get him yet you state he's slacked off the past two years.
Flyers don't like players that slack off
Plus, he was still recovering from his back injury this year.. But 2 years is a long time to slack off.. Why even waste the assets to get a 2nd/3rd line player who is as soft as butter when we already have a plethora of fowards
