Pretty soon all the Capital "fans" will jump on the Nationals bandwagon. Give it another year and all of a sudden Washington will be a baseball town.

Wright and the official scorer collectively might cost Dickey a no-hitter.

Dickey is awesome.

Dickey is just unfathomably good. He's in Cy Young contention.

I guess the select Yankee fans should now stop with the Santana no-hitter complaints. Dickey just threw one but the official scorer blew the call.

Yep. A perfect game, and if he made the first play, he would have made it a no-hitter because of the actual called throwing error. You know how it's tripley as bad? He ended Dickey's scorless inning streak.

This team is on a roll. Back to back sweeps. Almost swept the Rays too.

6-0 vs NL East. Too bad they can't play the NL east all year.

The Yankees...

...are rolling

Dickey is one of my favorite non-Yankees so it was really cool to have him toss an absolute gem when it was bountiful for us.

Mets appealing to MLB for a no hitter for Dickey.

Quote:
New York Mets knuckleballer R.A. Dickey now owns the longest streak of scoreless innings in franchise history.

The commissioner's office will decide whether he also owns the second no-hitter in franchise history.

Dickey surrendered only one hit in the Mets' 9-1 win against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field on Wednesday night.

It came on what was scored a two-out infield single in the first inning by B.J. Upton, a ball on which third baseman David Wright was unable to field cleanly with his bare hand.
