The reason I said Callahan would work on the first line and would be more usefull on the third line is because of his style of play. I'm sure he would work fine on the 1st line, but its just now how Callahan plays hockey. He just doesn't play "pretty" hockey.

People say Parise is a 1st liner but he doesn't play "pretty hockey" so I don't know what that has to do with it. Yes Parise scores more but still similar type of style.

You're 100% correct. Callahans play isn't pretty. It's ****Ing beautiful.

He's our most effictive all-around forward in our line-up. Only a fool would label him as a third-liner.

Hags, (likely) Kreider, Richards, Callahan, Dubinsky, Stepan. Anisimov can be plugged in as well.

That's our top six until Gaborik gets back, probably.

Richards and Callahan played together for a good part of the season, and found success with Dubinsky and Hags on the wing. If Kreider fits there well, there's alot of potential.

It looks like Cally and Kreider are our top 2 right wingers. The big question to me is how are the lines going to be assembled. And the answer is that it doesn't matter, because they're going to shuffle so often.

John Scott. Boyles gonna teach him how to skate this off season. Prust will teach him how to fight and Messier will show him how to lead. Damn, we have no goal scorers to show him how to put the puck into the back of the net.

You don't replace a 40g scorer. It's a team approach to fill in the gaps. Krieder will take up a big chunk of it. Dubinsky needs to be better. The rest of the team needs to give a bit more. Adding offense from this year, is a guy like Radulov, etc.

Zuccarello. Give him a one year one way deal, $1,5 mill, and heŽll sign and ditch Mettalurg.

1 season does not a career make. Nash is WORLDS better than Callahan is offensively. Overall game, Callahan raises his value...Rick Nash is the better player...hes making 7.8 mil for a reason.

Yea, he's the only player in CB with talent and they could have afforded an 8.8m cap hit if necessary.

I think he was just trying to show that Callahan is not exactly a third line player, and was not saying Callahan is a better goal scorer then Nash.

At least I hope that is the case

NHL Lockout will replace Gaborik. We can sign him for cheap on a 1 year deal.

Is that why Redden got 7mil+? Why isn't he playing here anymore? He must be good if he's getting paid that much..

Nash is paid 7.8 Million because the Blue Jackets had to or else he was gone.

Was playing with a torn rotator cuff and needs surgery.

He'll be out for 5-6 months.
