Have had good discussions for a few goalies, but nothing is complete. Prefer finding a younger guy who can split starting duties for the upcoming season and grow into the #1 job.

Also looking for at least one top 4 d-man, preferably two. Stay-at-home type or puck mover, we need both.

Willing to move Brett Connolly and picks(10th,19th,37th,40th and 50th) as well as possibly Ryan Malone, although he has a NMC so it would need to be an ideal fit.

UPDATE

The 3rd overall is in play for a young top 6 forward with high potential. Other assets can be added depending of the situation.

Yannick Weber and Danny Kristo are available for the best prospect or pick possible.

Also listening to other offers.

PM!

In conversation with a handful of teams in the east to acquire a top pairing defenseman and a top center.

TJ Oshie and David Perrin both available to make this happen.

How did a vetoed trade get put through again with no changes to the deal?

Posting it forgetting the NMC the first time was just a stupid mistake on my part.
No change because it's only a 1 for 1 deal.

Remember to get your RFA's in to me if you're an Eastern Conference team.

Also if you want to try and sign your impending UFA.

Block Update:
Iginla-Lots of movement but best offer is two young top 6 forwards and a pick. He will likely get moved by tonight
Giordano-A lot of interest but not too much that's interesting me.
Tanguay-Interest has been very lukewarm. He's absolutely available
Cammalleri-Getting some interest. We'll see how it goes.
Bouwmeester-Appears to be staying

David Booth is being shopped. Couple offers.

Schneider/Luongo continue to receive offers. Schneider will take overpayment. Luongo will take a reasonable return but nothing too extreme, a 1st and/or good prospect should be involved... or a Top 6 W.

Ballard/Malhotra/Alberts all remain on the block.

We're looking to get younger, a fresh start with the forwards who have been struggling for the last couple of years. We also believe that Logan Couture has risen above expectations, and we believe that he will be able to handle more minutes even at such a young age.

The Sharks would like to thank Joe with for his services and wish him the best in Toronto.

We're very happy to add Joffrey to the Sharks. We've kept a close on eye on him since his start in Anaheim, and we believe he is the type of forward that would mesh really well with the current group. Also, a RH shooter on the left side is something we could really use, and we're happy Joffrey could be that guy.

With the 5th overall pick, we've had our eye on a couple of players that we hope to still be available at that spot. We're looking to get younger, and what better way to do that than with a top-5 pick in a very good draft year?

New Sharks Line Up:

Lupul-Marleau-Havlat
Clowe-Couture-Pavelski
Winnik-Handzus-XXX
XXX-Moore-XXX

Stuart-Boyle
Vlasic-Burns
XXX-Demers

Niemi
Greiss

The Sharks are looking to move Ryane Clowe, preferably for a young center or a younger top-6 LW.
Can't believe that both commishs said yes to this one... (NMC)

Wow, kudos to the Maple Leafs and Sharks for thinking outside the box. The deal actually makes a lot of sense for both teams.

Koivu-couple offers. Nothing that would seriously make me consider moving him though. Will take massive overpayment for him to leave Minny.

Heatley-Basically nothing. C'mon guys, who would not want Heatley

Gilbert-Ideally looking to package him up for an upgrade on D. Leaning towards keeping him.

Setoguchi-Will only move him if a top 4 D or top 6 center is coming in return. Will take overpayment.

7th overall-Will take all offers on it, but ideally looking to move up in the draft.

Pm me if interested in anything on my team. Granlund, Brodin, and Hossa only untouchables.
